Hes no OJ.
Was just trying to make a joke, thanks for driving a tank through my parade.

On a more serious note, Ray Lewis is a monster, and is one of the most consistent/dedicated players that the field has ever seen. I think Pat Willis might be the second coming of RL, and can take his place in the league once RL has moved onto the booth.
here’s a better joke i heard a comedian utter recently;

“now that we have a black president, can we finally admit OJ is guilty?”

NOW THAT’S FUNNY

And bond james bond, just be glad you aren’t me. The Ravens and the Steelers are my two favorite teams. Why the HELL are they in the same division? LOL
Excellent choices my man. I know if I wasn’t a Steeler fan I would be a Raven fan. That AFC Championship from two years ago was the most brutal, hard hitting game I have ever seen. I may be biased but fuck, the opening kick-off a dude was knocked out cold lol. Three more concussions were handed out in that game I think. I felt ill when I read the Ravens picked up Anquan Bolden. You don’t win the AFC North Div…you survive it.

If by it, you mean another losing season.

ahem being as colorado is your location ill assume a broncos fan, last time we played we crushed ye 44 24 j charles 259 yards, we are on the way up broncos on the way down

Baltimore native here. Although at some points Ray has been aloof from the fanbase, we could not have asked for a more fired up, intenese, and inspired football player to lead the Ravens for the past 15 years. Can you believe both he and Jonathan Ogden were the FIRST 2 draft picks the Ravens ever made, in 1996?

He has a Superbowl MVP, 2 Defensive MVP awards, multiple pro-bowls, active leader in tackles, etc. He is a machine. Period.

I’ll be the first to admit the Broncos have disappointed me AGAIN. That performance was just pathetic. Hopefully, they will get a lot better and actually make the playoffs after a good start to the season.

Some amazing scouting to get two talents like that in the draft.

I am starting to get excited about this years draft, hopefully the 49ers can be smart with their 2 first rounders. Anybody else a draft addict?

As someone who played different sports at various levels all my life I love it when fans say “we” like they were actually out on the field playing. Or am I wrong and you actually do play for the Chiefs?

no i dont i still play competitive sport so i get what you mean but i always refer to the teams i support as we so does everyone i know

Soooooo full of shit. 2 of the historically worst teams in the NFL are in that division. Steelers didn’t make playoffs last year. And the Ravens are occasionally decent (2000), but most of the time just mediocre. An average Colts D held them to 3 points.

And Anquan Boldin is about to know how Alvin Harper and recently, TJ Houshmanzadeh felt. When you have Michael Irvin, Chad Johnson, or Larry Fitzgerald on the other side of the field as you, it’s real easy to tell yourself that you’re worth #1 money.

Toughest divisions are NFC North, NFC East, and AFC East (look at Wins and Losses the Matt Cassel year). AFC North is pretty entrenched the middle.

Houshmanzedeh went to an offense in tatters. Boldin is going to an offense ascending with a good line, good running game, good qb, veteran receivers heap and clayton, and a stifling d.

ravens are legit.

and I don’t know what that steelers funk was about last year but this is still an age of parity and they have the pieces in place to snap out of it and be much better this year. IF their star qb can remove his head from his ass that is.

I am a fan of Flacco and McGahey. But to say it somehow is some elite division is nuts. The two best teams in the division play each other only twice… it’s not like it makes or breaks their year.

I told you I was biased. It just seems to me that when these teams play(Browns don’t count) against each other, the list of walking wounded is very long. Hard hitting games…always.

Alvin Harper!..havent’t heard that name in a while. Regarding Boldin, I think his type of style of playing receiver will fit really well with the type offence they run in Baltimore. He should thrive there. I could be wrong, who knows. You make a good point about wideouts and how they believe they’re #1’s then go somewhere else and you never hear from them again. Double coverage every play when they are the main guy, some elevate their game and some don’t.

I am a fan of Boldin too. I just don’t see him as a pure #1 receiver. Hell of an athlete, and competitor no doubt. Tough too. Just not pure #1. More like a 1B or 2A.

I never once mentioned “elite” in my posts.

The Steelers problem last year, easy, piss poor special teams. Everybody mentions Troy getting hurt but losing Aaron Smith was equally devastating. And the o-line was so-so if not crap.
