Where is the Steeler Nation?

What happened to the Weekly Steelers thread? It was conspicuous by its absence. Where is that deafening silence emanating from? I guess you all can use your terrible towels to dry those tears.

Go Baltimore!

Eh, I’m still here.

I was going to post a thread for every point the Steelers scored on Sunday, but… oh well.

Anyway, I’m more excited for the NFL Draft than I have been in a long time!

I never got involved with those threads, but I’m still here as well.

I have to say, the sting of a disappointing season is somewhat lessened by the Super Bowl win last year…but the wheels have sure come off for this season.

If not for the SB win, I’d have surely thrown something through my TV by now, especially during that disgusting performance in Baltimore.

9 sacks!!!
big ben is a big pussy…

WHO DEY!!!

oh and go Giants! (my #2 team)

So who are you guys going to draft to fix the issues? A QB? O-lineman (where I think the problem lies)? A Linebacker?

B.

The pompous Steeler threads that were started earlier were the product of GO Heavy Fool, so take them with a large grain of salt.

Most Stiller fans on this site are pretty cool, don’t kick them when they are on the ground. What goes around comes around especially in the NFL.

Oh and by the way go Niners!!!..4 more wins than we should have right now.

A coach? Is there any chance Cowher is coming back?

Um, if you haven’t been keeping track, both your #1 and #2 teams have been self-destructing over the past 4 weeks.

Or are you counting that win against mighty Cleveland as a big accomplishment for your Bungals?

No way they’ll draft a QB. It’ll be a long time before that team/city loses complete faith in Roethlisberger, and they have a very capable back-up in Batch (who has a 138 qb rating on the season, btw)

As for who I think they’ll draft, I’d say it’ll probably be a D-back. Their secondary has been absolutely abused this year.

Either that, or just about any player who can hang onto the ball.

How bout a healthy Ben…hmm after an off season like his, he should of taken time off to properly heal.
Its his fault instead of being stubborn and sitting a couple of weeks. He is not the same.
Go giants! roll over for America’s team like your supposed too.

Thanks UL, what a guy. I am pretty damn cool, by my own admission…

Anyway, I like that Niners team you’ve got out there, Gore is a beast, I think you have some bright years coming up.

I’m very unsure of whether Cowher would be willing to leave on such a sour note.

If and when he does, their D-Coordinator, Dick LeBeau, will surely be offered the head coaching job before anyone else.

The Steeler Nation they are good guys. I’m just joking. But those early Steeler threads were a little tough to take. I really don’t know what has happened to the Steelers. I think it was the first game of the season and they rolled over my Cowboys and looked invincible. It is really strange.

I remember seeing Gore in college and thinking “How did McGahee start in front of this guy?” His best years are still ahead of him.

Steelers fans are really good fans BTW. I mean, no one was holding a tailgate outside of Steve Foley’s hospital when he was shot this summer.

And now let us try and squeeze some dollars from our asshole owners for a few free agents…

McGahee is awesome but he only got the nod over Gore in college because Gore was coming off a knee injury. I think he actually tore both ACLs.

He was ahead of McGahee until he tore an ACL (having recovered from one repair already). Coming out of college with two repaired knees was a part of how he lasted to the third round.
