Raw Power

I see that bench is starting to move North!

Nice work in here.

The stiff deads with the 25s is good work; Nice benching too.

Thanks Folks, and Kimba, great to see you stop by!

Deads Night:

GMs: 45 x8, 135 x8, 205 x 5.

Notes: Nice and fast tonight. The Y where I lift is getting all now equipment, and supposedly this includes a deadlift platform. The truck was there tonight unloading.

Light Bench:

Bench: 45 x25, 135 x5, 5, 5, 5, 195 x8, 8.

Various Grip Pullups: 6, 5, 5, 5, 5, 5, 5, 5, 5, 4, 4.

Press: 150 x 5, 5, 5, 5, 5, 5.

Notes: My forearms are hurting a bit and I’m got some carpal tunnel issues from a big project I’ve been working on so I did this and got out.

Side Notes: If my avatar is crazy after Sunday its because the Hawks lost and I’ve got a bet with that mad-man DB Cooper. Its not because I’m a Hitler fan or anything like that. So fair warning.

You have no reason to worry. 24-17 Hawks. Mark it down.

I just hope they don’t drop the hammer on Sherman tomorrow.

Sorry to hear about the upcoming avi change. I’m so looking forward to this game.

We’ll see, old man, we’ll see.

I remember going to the Y when they were the only good hardcore place to go in town but the few around here aren’t so good anymore.

Sorry, OMP, still the pups.

SF got schooled. Brutal physical game.
Hawks reminded me of old school Raiders. Team did well. Nice win JK.

Sorry, OMP, I really thought that was going to be a better game. I think SF blew their wad so to speak the week before and Seattle is just a tough place to place and Seattle is on fire right now. If I was a division winner in the playoffs I sure wouldn’t want to draw them in the wildcard game.

Don’t forget Seattle no one wants to go to Seattle. SF cannot overlook Arizona at this point. If they lose and the Hawks beat the Rams, we’ll be #2 in the NFC. With that comes home field until the championship game.

It’s a long shot for sure. For the first time in years, however, I think they can win on the road.

They are a whole different team on the road, but shit, they are really hot right now. Anything can happen at this point and I sure as hell wouldn’t want to play them if I were a division winner.

Could it be a Seattle vs New England Superbowl? San Fran vs Denver? Hmm

Classic letdown game for SF following the huge emotional win in New England, that being said I completely agree I wouldn’t want to be the division winner who catches them in the first round (I’m guessing Washington). Merry Christmas to you and your family Jack.

Merry Christmas, all, thanks for stopping on. Dave, GV, I’m at least optimistic for the Hawks at this point.

Squats, Krock’s Volume Day:

Squats: 135 x10, 225 x5, 305 x 4, 4, 4, 4, 4, 4, 4, 4, 4, 4. (12 minutes, start to finish).

Leg Press: 6 plates x 25, 25, 25, 25 (60 sec rest).

Leg Curls (quads): some x 30, 30, 30

Leg Curls: some x 15, 15, 15.

Stiff Leg Dumbbell Deads: 50s x 15, 15, 15.

Notes: The Y was closing early so I had about 35 mins to get this in. I’m wiped and still a bit queasy.

Hawks are flying under the radar and looking strong. Merry X-Mas.

Happy New Year!
