Good work JJack.

JJack once in awhile(1 every 6-10 days) you need to EAT EVERYTHING YOU SEE to help confuse your metabolism so that it is not stuck in Starvation mode.

Rick
Hehe. I had a pile of rice with my 36 Oz. porterhouse last night and I feel much better today. I also think I need a pile of pancakes here sometime soon.
If I eat everything in site everyday will that keep my metabolism confused?
Smart Ass! You know what I meant.

Ie explanation: If a person continues on a low-caloric diet for an extended period of time( in relation to his normal caloric intake) the metabolism will slow down. So you program in re-feed/caloric surplus days 1 a week or 10 days.

Or change the ratios of the macronutrients around usually by manipulating the Carbs.

Is that better? LOL

I was just hoping you know of some way for me to get jacked and ripped on Italian Beefs and Dairy Queen.

Matty, I’m not a big fan of repping on deads but its gotta get done.

Kimba, Rick, I’m planning a pancake re-fead this weekend, and I can’t wait.

Joe, thanks for stopping in.

Pete, I like the way you think.

1’s day, Bench, TM 195.

Bench: 45 x20, 95 x5, 135 x5, 160 x3, 185 x13.

DB Rows: 100s x 10, 10, 10, 10, 10.

DB I-Bench: 75s x 10, 10, 8, 7, 8.

CG Cable Rows: 180 x 10, 10, 10, 9, 8.

Pec dec: 100 x 20, 20, 20.

Curl Machine: 2 sets x 20.

Stairs: 20 Flights.

Notes: I felt pretty good today, the numbers are still moving up, BW down to 227.0 in a.m. Now to chow down on some New York Strips.

Looks like the Secret Service guys got popped by the press because they were stupid enough to haggle over the price after they had completed the transaction:

^^^^ You think those guys know how to keep a Secret after they get service. LOL

When are you going to buy some “Skinny-Jeans” with your now svelte self?

Hehe. Thanks Rick. You know, I have Jeans for all versions of me. I just put my 42’s and 40’s on the back burner and the 38’s are feeling just a tad loose. I tried on my 36’s but they still aren’t comfy yet. I have 34’s in there as well, those are my 4th of July goal.

Awesome keep at it.

Man I have to buy 36 extra baggy or my legs and Ass won’t fit.
Or I just wear cargo pants now.

1’s day, squat, TM 315.

Squat: 45 x10, 135 x5, 185 x5, 225 x5, 265 x3, 300 x8.

Front Squat: 225 x 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2.

Stairs: 20 Flights.

Notes: I bumped front squats to 225 and quickly realized I wasn’t going to get in 5 x 5, so i decided to hit 10 doubles. The first 6 sets seemed way too hard, but the last 4 I cruised through and hit them to rock bottom. I can really feel it in my groin and inner thighs.

Nice work Jack…what kind of program are you following…looks interesting

Matty, I’m just running 5-3-1 on a 6-day week for right now, with the boring-but-big option for deads; trying to get some back volume in for asst. on upper days; and using lower volume front squats for asst. on squat day. I’d use higher volume on front squats except I hate them so much.

1’s day, Press, TM 135.

Press: 45 x15, 65 x5, 85 x5, 105 x5, 120 x3, 135 x8 (supposed to be 130, but whatever).

Superset:

Asst. Pullups (-50): 10, 10, 8, 7, 6.

Dips: 10, 10, 8, 8, 8.

DBOHP: 50’s x10, 10, 8, 7, 6.

CGPulldowns: 175 x10, 10, 8, 7, 6.

Machine curls 3 sets x10.

Stairs: 20 flights.

Notes: 2nd Cycle in the books.

Fuck. I just saw this vid and now I’m getting straps for the front squat. Maybe then I won’t hate them so much.

Bodyweight: 226.4.

Nice! btw…Hate front squats I am so freaking weak at them…

I just ordered some EFS wrists straps for front squats and threw in a set of 60cm Metal All Black wrist wraps for good measure. If anyone has a better suggestion for wrist wraps, let me know, I can probably call in monday morning and change the order if need be.

My refeed today was an entire small wood-fired oven thin-crust pizza with homemade fennel sausage and pickled banana peppers.

Top that.

looks like the weight keeps coming down. Whats the goal?

I’m a big fan of Elite’s own wrist wraps.

Pete, do you like the 60 or 80cm wrist wraps? I may order an extra set of EFS wraps and just compare them.

Joe, I’d like to get under 220 before memorial weekend and ultimately I’d like to walk around at around 205 so I can get within cutting distance of the 198’s. 220 is about the heaviest I can be and still get my ski to turn.
