You’re obviously not ravers, or ex-ravers. Some of my best memories are of raving, and my trip to Ibiza was all-time.

Oh ya, I’ll second that. The ladies I have met raving…ahhhh…

And no, I don’t take or have EVER taken ex. Its called having rythym and being able to dance, something I think some of people here bashing raves desperately lack, LOL.

dancing at raves , light shows are gay really really gay, not to mention house music.i bet if anyone went to a rave doing agility drills every raver and e-tard will think you’er cool.

good thread

I bring jerky, nuts, dried fruit & Grow! bars with me to concerts/parties. Just have one of your female friends stick 'em in her purse.

I also prepare a shake to chug after the show/party.

Also, if you’re going to take X/E/MDMA, then be sure to take alpha lipolic acid (twice the mg of the MDMA) 30-45 min. before you take the E. This mitigates most of the negative side effects. About 2-3 hours after, take 50-150mg of 5-HTP, and then continue taking it daily 'til the bottle runs out. This will help you regenerate serotonin levels.

Yes, dancing all night with unihibited, hot-ass, barely-clothed chicks who are oozing sexual energy is totally “gay”. You should definitely stay home working on your agility drills.

you call that dancing ? i’m sorry but if im at a club or house party i don’t get the urge to dance with females all night to music that gives me a head ache.

Don’t bother, he just doesn’t get it.

Raves are so nineties. Why the hell worry about nutrition when you are going to be rolling your nuts off? Just keep hydrated and don’t pay to much for your X and don’t give out the ones you buy too just anyone.

AMEN. Especially, this is a health and fitness related website and we’re talking about drugs.

Actually only a few people are talking about drugs, the original poster stated that they never have taken X. In fact I know of many raves that are thrown by straightedge, and there isn’t even boose at those. Clubs and raves are a good time, no different then two steppin or swing dancing depending on your taste for music. I would actually do all three.

I never said anything about my own personal drug usage, for or against. All I’m asking is for advice to keep me energetic and satiated while not having to sneak in a roasted turkey with me.

Yes, a health and fitness site that sells drugs, err, supplements that have “drug-like effects” and devotes a large section to anabolic steroids.

Spare us the holier-than-thou horseshit. Why bother reading and posting worthless comments to a thread you apparently aren’t interested in?

What?

You are honestly comparing Ecstasy to protein powder?

No, but way to try to twist the argument! I am comparing drugs to drugs, though (i.e. AAS, MAG-10, HOT-ROX, Carbolin 19, etc.) Nice try, though.

As I understand it, the person who started the thread was asking about “damage control” while going to a rave. Yes, he was asking about lack of food, but sometimes when poeple go to parties (especially particular types of parties like raves or concerts) there are things there such as alcohol, weed, MDMA (E/X), etc. I simply offered some suggestions just in case. Who knows, it may interest other people besides you?

People on this site are apparently shocked that people who workout, play sports, and eat right occasionally party (gasp)!

I’m sure some of you couldn’t care less who you influence so this wont matter to you, but I just wonder how many teenaged kids are going to read this thread and think “you know, even those T-Nation guys are doing ecstasy, and they’re all into lifting and eating right, so it can’t really be that bad for you.”

You’re right, if a teenager chooses to do ecstasy, it’s most likely because he read this thread. It probably doesn’t have anything to do with their upbringing, moral code, etc. That’s a great point!

Do you feel the same way about steriods? 'Cause we wouldn’t want any teenagers coming to this site and thinking “you know, even those T-Nation guys are doing steroids, and they’re all into lifting and eating right, so it can’t really be that bad for you.” Right?

It’s just like anything: ephedra, 'roids, beer, ecstacy, etc.

  1. Most of what people know/believe is misinformation.
  2. If you’re not harming anyone but yourself, who the F are you to tell people what they should and shouldn’t do?

This may not apply to you, but most everyone is responsible for making their own decisions.

You simply made a totally over the top attack on someone who ventured the opinion that taking ecstasy doesn’t exactly fit in with the nature of this website.

I took umbridge with your remark in comparing drugs used simply to enhance your inebriation as opposed to the supplements supplied on this website that are for the purpose of enhancing one’s body composition or recovery abilities.

I didn’t judge your use of ecstacy, I merely objected to you comparing it to bodybuilding supplements.

I didn’t say the only reason someone would do drugs is because they read this thread, I was talking about influence.

And from what I’ve seen, most of the steroid users on this site will tear any 15 year old kid thinking of using a new one. I think if some teenager came and read through the steroid information on this site they would get the impression that steroids are for adults who have been lifting for a lot of years, and that any teenager who would even think of using them is a moron.

Everyone is personally responsible for his or her own actions and choices. I don’t think you will find anyone who believes that more than I do. If a kid takes drugs, it is his own choice and his own responsibility. Likewise, you are responsible for your own actions, including the act of being a negative influence on others.

Gee, probably very few.

Quite frankly, if your teenager is that weak minded and easily influenced you did a piss poor job as a parent. It is highly unlikely that any teenager’s first exposure to drug culture is going to be the content of this thread. The phrase, “ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!” comes to mind.

If you are so suddenly so concerned with the content of this site and it’s influence on today’s youth, you should pop over to the sex forum where you might just prevent some 14-year old fucktard from slapping on a thrice used Magnum XL and giving herpes to half the freshman class.
