Just curious, what exactly is the Norwegian Method? I know they did a study where they compared lifting 3 vs. 6 days a week with equal volume and the 6 day group had increased LBM and strength gains. I know they are proponents of high frequency but wasn’t aware they released much info on their exact methods. Do you know where there are more details?

Look on YouTube for Iraki Juma, he has an interview with one of their coaches named Alexander Kirkteig. He gives the best explanation you will find online, but it still lacks most of the details. All Norwegian lifters and coaches have to sign a non-disclosure agreement, they can’t share the secrets of their training. Keep in mind that Boris Sheiko, who is arguably the best powerlifting coach of all time, uses significantly lower frequency with his lifters so it’s not so easy to say that higher frequency is automatically better. The problem with the way Norwegian lifters were training before was that their volume per session was way too much (literally double in the 3 day vs. 6 day study) so that explains at least part of why they are having success with high frequency training.
