well, that’s not really what you said first. If you had used the qualifiers ‘90%’ and ‘natural’ in your first statement, it wouldn’t have necessarily been objectionable. But you didn’t do that. You said ‘show me pictures of well developed physiques on a 3 day program’ with no qualifiers. And you acted like nobody would be able to provide that. So, I did.
And for reference, here is a picture of me before I was ‘enhanced’. I certainly didn’t have the physique I have today, but it was pretty good.
oh ok. I didn’t know ‘pretty good’ and ‘well developed’ meant totally different things. Is that what you’re suggesting here? That the photo is a representative of pretty good, but not well developed? If so, cool. I don’t know what your definition is for either term, so feel free to elaborate.
I’m conceding dude. Taking my literal words and eating it. Are you an outlier… yup but I digress you made your point. By the way… you said ‘pretty good’ in your post to reference your physique first so I was agreeing.
“And for reference, here is a picture of me before I was ‘enhanced’. I certainly didn’t have the physique I have today, but it was pretty good.”
DC training. Plenty of 5/3/1 templates. The majority of Chad Waterbury programs. Starting Strength. Westside for Skinny Bastards. The time-tested 20-rep squat program. The time-tested 5x5 program… all of them have three days of lifting.
If the approach didn’t work, these ridiculously popular and effective plans wouldn’t be ridiculously popular and effective.
You’re an upper body bro (unless you have, like, a knee injury we haven’t heard about yet). Start taking lower body training seriously and good things will happen everywhere. I’d work on power cleans to solve the back and traps issue.
No, that’s not what I am saying at all. I’m not even approaching ‘sorry’ for posting my opinion on a forum. My opinion remains… I think the OP should ramp up his work out and post his diet for review. As for my request for photos on 3 day splits I do concede. I like the 5x5 program you mentioned for him if he is to continue on a 3 day split. Good change from his volume work.
