What do you bench?

This is where he says… “I don’t bench, I push press Dammit!!”

Agreed. When you’ve seen 90kg guys strict mill press that much weight and more, it’s not really impressive at all.

Just getting back to your DL DW, (I’m from Aus and we use metric system here so tryna convert from pounds annoys me and hurts my head if I don’t have a calculator handy,) but from skimming through the 7-8 pages in this thread, did I read that you had done a 3x bw deadlift? If so that’s rather respectable. Good work. What are you lifting in the squat and bench press?

I take it you never heard of the clean and jerk? It’s a lift performed in the Olympics. Quite well-known.

There’s a little chinese girl warming up somewhere with your 1RM DW, 225X1 Jerk Press is nothing special at all…

That wasn’t a “jerk press” or any type of jerk because there was only one bending of the knees, not the two that is done during a jerk. It was a push press. There is no such thing as a “jerk press” anyway.

I never claimed that it was a tremendous feat of strength, but I bet that -you- can’t push press 55lbs more than your bodyweight while standing.[/quote]

There is no such thing as a jerk press?

"In both a push press and a push jerk you use a simultaneous action of both the legs and arms to press the weight overhead. The difference is that in the push press you only use a slight leg drive to get the bar started, but most of the job is being done with the arms.

In a push jerk the role of the legs and arms are reversed: you use a powerful leg drive which does most of the work; the arms are secondary to this strong leg drive."

If your getting confused cause I said jerk press instead of push jerk, you knew exactly what I meant. It does exists.

You bet that I can’t?? I’ll introduce this exersize into my program there tough guy, challenging everybody on the internet to your amazing feats of strength, your a joke.

Physique = 4
Lifts = 9.5

Great lifts. If I were to rate you on your lifts bro, great job.

Your physique on the other hand is sub-par.

You can buy them at the Jerk Store.

Yes, of course I know about the clean and jerk. That doesn’t change the fact that there is no such thing as a “jerk press”. There is the split jerk and power jerk, but no jerk press. Like I already posted, I did a PUSH PRESS in the 225 video.

A “jerk press” is not a push jerk or power jerk. The “jerk press” does not exist. You need to pull your head out of your ass and use the proper terminology if you want to criticize me.

OK. Go ahead. Do a push press that is at least 55lbs over your bodyweight. Record a video, post it on YouTube or a similar website, and prove me wrong.

Yes, it’s obviously a terrible physique.

I believe that ANY pressing movement performed by you can be labeled a jerk-press.

PS: The ocean called, they’re running out of shrimp.

Since DW has been called out for resembling what sex offenders look like numberous times, I noticed the similarity! :stuck_out_tongue:
Heck, that could even be DW pre-surgury…
