Just gonna bump this thread since I’m doing this diet right now. Lost 13lb in about 4 weeks and very little water loss since I was already pretty carb depleted when I started. Going to move on to a more moderate diet soon. I hope everyone whose doing the diet is having success with it.
As in you are going on it again after the time you just described or just finished the one you describedand are on the final days?
Im on day 12 now and down about 8lbs. Like you i was essentially water-low when i went on. Maybe 5 pounds. We’ll see. My lifting volume is way down [two days worth split over 4] and I dont to “cardio” apart from warm up. After day 15 I am going to start some hour long Xvest walks 3-4x/week. just to keep the activity going Re: fat loss. Also must break in boots.
What were your best “meals?” Mine mostly involve mad lean beef cuts and pork cuts along with the BBQ and veggies with the fat free cheese on them. never thought id be looking around for fat free anything.

I’m probably going to have a go at it again for another two weeks. The main reason I’m doing this diet is because I can’t get regular access to a gym right now, so I might as well lose some fat =D. My activities outside the gym is really low, I don’t even do any NEPA walks or whatsoever, so maybe that’s something that I should consider doing next time. I can still maintain most of my lifts, even got a 230kg PR for deadlift last session (woohoo!) so I’m guessing there’s minimal muscle loss.
Best meals? Hmm, I’m not sure, I’ve been trying out a lot of recipes since I don’t have anything to do nowadays. I’ve been lurking around a lot of low carb recipe forums and just replace the fats with fat free stuffs where applicable. Going to try out this low carb/fat high protein cake recipe soon;
I don’t really like veggies much, and I normally eat them first just to get them out of the way, but recently I’ve enjoyed steamed broccolis sprinkled with Molly Mcbutter low fat cheese/butter sprinkles.
Cauliflowers are my main source of veggies, and I normally boil/steam a head and then mash them with fat free cheese, garlic powder and Molly McButter sprinkles to make faux potatoes. These mashed up cauliflowers can be used to make mashed potatoes, pizza crusts, shepherd’s pies etc etc. I also grate the cauliflowers to make “rice”. [/quote]
Sorry i couldn’t reply earlier, to biz at work. That’s hot shit on the DL. If feel myself being weak throughout the whole thing, except post refeed where I pr’d on dips. For example I felt like I was mad slow on some 140-150kg squats for sets of 3. Previous to this diet 140kg wasn’t even a work set for 3.
But then again previous to this diet nobody said shit about how “skinny” I was looking. The term skinny makes me want to eat pound of bacon but I know they mean “Lean and Rugged” but it just isnt in their lexicon. Either way the loss of 10 solid pounds and ideally another 3-4 while being fully water loaded is great shit. I guarantee that if i cut the creatine and quit eating 10+ grams of sodium a day I could drop 8-10lbs of water weight in a day.
Since ive got to get down to a solid maintainable 187.5 [85kg] and im at 199-200 right now I think once the diet is over [23rd]; Ill end up seeing what I can get out of maintenance cals, [shit ton of protein] carbs only after training, and 2 conditioning sessions/week [sled]. after 4 weeks of that I should be a level one and then might go back on The RFL for a deload week.
So is suppose ill see. I need/want access to a track for the winter [none a the gym i work at] so im working on that right now. Ideally if everything works out the track work after the diet will tear off the last 10 Lbs while I try and drive my metabolism back up.
