You’ll Get Used to It
I walk into a local MacDonald’s across the street from my security patrol in a high gang level location, the “restaurant” was full of patrons, about 15 < 20 to get some lunch while in a security guard uniform, when some deranged black woman starts SCREAMING AT ME with this:
well look at that… a muthau#$ing rent a cop and look he aint got no muthu$&#kin gun, I could shoot the muthuu#$a right now an he coun do sht, hey officer… hey white muthuu#$ing cop wanabee … How many black men you shoot today? How many muthuu#$a ? how many black men you gonna kill today muthuu#$a huh? Yea I’m talking to you muthuu#$a…!! (another black female interupts her and says something about he aint got no gun hes just trying to help people say safe, security guards aren’t cops etc…) She says “they aaaaall the muthu*u#$in same, I could shot this muthufuka right now and he couldn do **… Hey officer what ya gonna do pull your gun and kill me muthu#$a?” then she gets into a two handed weaver stance and pretends to start shooting me over and over yelling BAM!! BAM!! BAM!! I just killed you muthuu#$a…! what ya gonna do now, by this time I’ve completely shut her out of my mind and time started to slow down a bit so I don’t recall specifics of what she said after that, but it went on for about another 5 minutes with direct threats of death and accusations of murder.
As I was leaving I said in a calm quiet voice "I’m not here to shoot anyone mam … I’m just here to get me some MickyD’s”, and left the establishment

Talk to a Cop about it and he just smiles and says “You’ll Get Used to It”
I belive she was attempting to start a Riot, I was far far 'outnumbered' by maybe 20 to 1, I was attempting to remain emotionaly detached while hyper-aware, If I were to come back and engage her in any counter arguments at her emotional dirtbag level the place would have exploded into a kill whitey frenzy.
also: the above was a brief summary, it actualy went on for about 10 minuts mostly the same stuff.
I think you did the right thing. Considering the state she was in. It probably wouldnt have been worth it to give her much attention. If you try to have a rational discussion with a crazy person you’ll just end up looking as insane as them!
I know she brought up the black/white thing but she was just crazy. I had a women (years ago) start stabbing me with her pin while I was on a pay phone, she was yelling stuff like, “no more jew babies are gonna die” and " I saw jimmy swagert(sp?) grab his c@$k" stuff like that. she was white but she did use ethnic slurs toward me, so what, she was just a nut!! funny thing is I called the cops, they arested her, I went to court and they FINED her. She said she lived in the stables at the racetrack, did they think she would realy pay a fine? what do they think she would have done if she had a boot knife instead of a pin?
Not a pleasant encounter but you handled the appropriately. Not all the nuts are in Afghanistan! With the gang activity, are you in NYC? BTW, what does CCW mean?
I am licenced to carry a pistol but its against company ‘policy’ to carry while working in uniform(target) in hindsight its damn funny… like eddie murphy funny, but at the time it was just realy sad. I’m only doing this low pay suckass job because the local computer industry is fubar here in Seattle.
Coyote, I feel for you. I work the cell block at the Federal District Court House in DC. All day long we are receiving guys for firearms possession violations. It is mind blowing to think about just how many low lifes are carrying guns. Yet you are not allowed to while you walk around with a target on your chest. You handled the situation well and I am glad you didn’t get hurt.
Make some time to call the manager and complain. If they tolerate that type of outburst, the next time will be worse than this time, and the time after that will be worse than that time. They should have called the police, intervened at least. Glad you are safe.
You did the right thing. I’m reminded of an alternative song that says something like this,
“You can’t talk to psycho like a normal human being.” She probably has some psycho/emotional disorder that manifests itself as a crack addiction. To most of the people there, she looked like the idiot, hence the lady who chimed in on your behalf. Anyway,
