Apparently it came out back in October. I’m surprised I missed it. I’m listening to it right now and I’m totally loving it.
When I was a kid I used to be afraid of these guys. I think it was these guys that had a music video where they drug some guy in a barn or something [song went something like ‘du hast me’ or something].
My older sister used to be afraid of the Wu-Tang Clan and Biggie.

Totally understandable, they ARE minorities after all.
The song is called “Du Hast Mich,” which is a play on marriage vows, if I’m not mistaken. My German teacher had us listen to the song so we could understand. It could either mean “you have me,” or “you hate me.” I haven’t heard the new cd. Gonna listen to it right now.
To sum up the album:
Rammlied = song about Rammstein
Ich Tu Dir Weh = song about S&M, translates into “I hurt you”
Waidmanns Heil = song about hunting with hounds and horses
Haifisch = retarded song about depression that says, and I quote “and the shark, he has tears, and they roll down his face. And the shark he lives in water, so you never see the tears. In the depths it is lonesome, and so many tears pour. And that is how it came to be that the water in the oceans is salty.” Yes, really.
Bückstabü = the name is gibberish, and its about letting rage and shit out
Frühling in Paris = Odd song about romance in paris and lotsa sex
Wiener Blut = Song about pedophilia and Josef Fritzel
Pussy = song about pr0n
Liebe ist für alle da = song about a dream girl/fantasy
Mehr = Gluttony
Roter Sand = emo bullshit
Führe mich = Lead me/make me do things - another song about S&M
Donaukinder = song about a chemical spill/disaster into the river Donaube/Danube
Halt = angst and other emo shit.
Hope this helps.

Sigh. The english version says hate, the German version says asked. You dont expect music to translate perfectly, do you?

It’s a play on words, but it only works in German, and it only works verbally, since German has two words that sound alike when spoken, but are spelled differently in written form (like the their/there/they’re in English)–called heterographs (for the geeks out there who will need to know this).
Here’s the scoop: Du hast - Wikipedia

Ah. you beat me to it. I couldn’t post that link while I was at work, but I’m pretty sure I posted it in SAMA.
Actually, I love these guys. One of the lifters/managers at one of the more hard core gyms I used to train at played their music almost exclusively (over the loud speakers–it was awesome). And this was at a time in my life when I gained a ton of muscle, so in my mind, listening to them makes you Grow! I guess I’ll have to get their new album and see if I can’t add another 25 lbs of muscle.

It’s quite simple, really : I’m blue and you’re orange; you’re Ernie and I’m Cookie Monster. Ernie is quite content fucking around singing about a “Rubber Ducky”, whereas Cookie Monster sings Rammstein covers.
You keep pushing your IQ, but you’re still orange.
If you turn up at a metal concert singing “Rubber Ducky”, you are clearly out of your tree. I’ll let you decide which is the most ill-advised move.
Hey, wait…that must be why you resent the blue people in Avatar.

You really want to claim that you are Cookie Monster, the dumbest of all of them? And yeah, being blue, you’d fit right in on Pandora. I know you’d love to have one of those young warriors ride you bareback…yeah…

Clearly, Cookie Monster is not the “dumbest of all of them”. The Sesame Street phone hath rungeth.
Since you’ve “reduced” yourself to posting on a Rammstein thread, I’d like to hear your views on contemporary metal - it’s obviously a subject close to your heart…I mean, you’re not just chasing little ol’ me around for entertainment, are you?
