Currently I am a dedicated long time smoker. I think about quiting every day and probably every time I have a cigarette. I have never tried to quit even once. Why? I don’t want to fail. I workout every day and do some form of cardio every day. When I run (albeit its not an all out throroghbred racehorse run) I feel winded in a healthy way. I don’t have that hacking smokers cough or weeze. What I do know is that I’m kidding myself and just biding time; there’s a rude awakening coming my way if I don’t get my head wrapped around this shit. This is another surprise, I can basically do anything I set my mind to and can’t for the life of me figure out why the fuck I haven’t done this yet. If you’re even at the point of just starting my hat’s off to you. What do they say? It takes on average 7 tries? Well you’re that much closer; I’ve still got 7 to go. Knowing all this I can’t answer to anyone let alone answer to myself. All I know is that I’ve got to get this into my head - like today. Okay start hurling the shit at me now.

I honestly think that if you smoke, doing aerobic exercise is more hazardous to your health than remaining sedentary. I admit, I have no proof to back this up. I couldn’t even find any reference to it on the internet. It’s just my feeling, that pumping all that shit through your body, at an accelerated rate HAS to be worse for you. Regardless, you already know, that smoking will catch up with you eventually. I have quit for almost 15 years now, and I still don’t have any wind. ( breathing IN, anyhow ) ![]()
