I went in to the store website to stock up on some proten but I noticed there have been some changes to the products i have been buying in the past.
First, Grow! whey protein is more expensive and they only sell 2lb of it. Before I used to buy the 5lb tubs. What’s the difference between the two?
Second, I noticed Metobolic Drive complete (not sure if this was new). Whats the difference between the complete and low carb?
And also i noticed Surge workout fuel. Is that just an energy drink to take during workouts?
I use Grow! for my morning protein shake and MD low carb right before sleep and Surge recovery with 3g of creatine after work outs. Do you guys recommend anything else? I think I will splurge on Flameout this time around too.

Grow! Whey now uses a unique whey extract that makes it completely different from previous versions. It’s also available in chocolate and vanilla flavors now.
If you want to keep things really simple and stick with the same products, the only change I’d recommend is to consume Surge Recovery immediately prior to and during training. Then follow training with a serving of Grow! Whey or Metabolic Drive Low-Carb Protein Shake.
If you want to mix things up to see bigger gains, look into Anaconda and MAG-10.
I’ve been using Anaconda and MAG-10 for a couple of months now with great results. However with all these new supps and modified versions coming out, Metabolic Drive kind of went to the back burner while I was trying em all out.
Made me realize how much I like Metabolic Drive. Luckily the void has been filled with my order today. Now I just have to wait it out till it arrives.
I have another question. After reading the product information i am wondering what i should take for my morning protein shake; Grow! or MD complete. Other than the protein from my shake, i eat almond butter with apples and oatmeal for breakfast.
Do you guys think I should take MD compete to add more calories, carbs and protein? Or is Grow! with almond butter/apple and oatmeal enough?
I guess im asking this question because im still a bit confused about MD complete. Is it used more for a meal replacement? I know you can use MD low carb as a meal replacement too. But is complete for someone who just wants the added carbs and more protein? To me it seems like it can be used as a meal.
Maybe I am over thinking this but any input and ideas will be appreciated.
Metabolic Drive Complete can be used any time you want the additional calories. It doesn’t matter whether it’s first thing in the day, with meals, between meals, or after training.
You can mix it in water or milk, and add additional foods if you want to boost calories higher. Oatmeal, peanut butter, and fruit are common choices for this.
