I haven’t kept up with this post, but I just happened to check it out and saw Strasser’s post. That was some funny shit bro! I was LMAO! Hey, I think many of us offer great advice, and sometimes we like to have a little fun too! I’m sorry it gets all “gosh golly Cleaver Beaver” for you. I mean, how many times can someone look for the “perfect training routine?” I used to do that when I was a newbie. But when I found T-mag, I started reading the articles beginning with issue #1. And I didn’t post on the forum for quite some time. And when I did begin posting, it was usually offering advice to people asking questions about things.
And I have never flammed a newbie for asking a question. But I have referred them to certain articles instead of giving them the same advice that we all give over and over again. Now you may say, "Nate Dogg, don't lie. You flammed Stick-boy." And I'll say, I only got upset when good advice was given, and it was not heeded. There is a big difference. So in that respect, why ask for advice if you don't plan on following it? Why should we waste our time mapping exact eating and training plans only to have someone say, "It looks too hard, but thanks anyway!" Otherwise, I have no problem helping a newbie, and it makes me feel good that I helped someone when they were first starting out. Because I wish I had the same thing when I first started lifting!
