Question of the Week

Because it is a perversion and denigration of God’s most ancient and foundational social institution which is proclaimed by the Apostle Paul in the 5th of Ephesians to be an earthly mirror of Christ’s love for His church bride. Watching porn or not isn’t really the point though. One can be faithful to his/her spouse and never see porn once in their life and go the same hell as Larry Flynt. Abstaining from pornography or adultery or fornication, homosexuality or pedophilia for that matter, doesn’t save anybody. Being raised from death in sin to new life in Christ does. Those for whom this is a reality will never have to ask what is wrong with porn.
Yay! I agree with Trib.

Not watching porn is a symptom of a life rightly lived, not the cause.
Are you a devout Christian DD?
Your stance on the pornography issue would imply so but you wrote some quite vulgar and profanity laced posts so I was wondering.

Probably not what Trib would call devout, no. I didn’t think I said anything too bad in this thread though.

There is no life outside of Jesus Christ. Porn or not. That was the whole point of His coming here. The willing surrender to sexual perversion is just one symptom of death in sin. After Jesus saved me from my sin and especially after my little girl was born? If anybody treated my daughter like I treated other men’s daughters, I’d kill em slowly with my bare hands if not for the sanctifying restraining power the Holy Spirit. I belong in that lake of fire. My merciful Lord Jesus paid for me so I don’t have to. Oh how I do worship love and adore Him for that.

Yeah, if you defiled multitudes though, your questionable quest to preserve the purity of one wont make much of a difference.

It might help, but the numbers are against you.

I know, I know, true repentance does not care for numbers, alas, real world results do.

I don’t think you did either and didn’t mean for this to come across like an attack.
I was just curious.
It wouldn’t matter either way though.
No ones perfect right?

75% of men ejaculate within three minutes? That’s real sex? Really?

If that’s true than 74% of women ain’t gettin’ serviced properly.

Good grief, males of the world, is this really what you’re doing out there?
I have no idea what I would do with the extra 90 seconds.

Well, I also brought up porn being used as a useful tool in a relationship.

How is it a sign of a life rightly lived to avoid simply getting a few lessons on new positions to please your MONOGAMOUS soul mate?

Well, one might say it is bad enough if you are claiming moral superiority simply because you don’t watch porn. It calls into question how you think it is morally right to insult people.

It COULD be viewed as coveting I guess

cov-et (kvt)
v. cov-et-ed, cov-et-ing, cov-ets
v.tr.

  1. To feel blameworthy desire for (that which is another’s). See Synonyms at envy.
  2. To wish for longingly. See Synonyms at desire.
    v.intr.
To feel immoderate desire for that which is another’s.

It would seem that would be the case if you are longing for the people on the screen…but what about using it as a lesson?

I mean, seriously, do you think someone with the views on life “some in this thread” have is coming up with new positions nightly?

Watching a x-rated video may save some of these people from divorce papers.

Did you wait until marriage to have sex?

You have to admit though that is a real time saver.

I knew that, kind of, for there is a documentary ba Chris Rock about the black wimmenz and their hair.

They make up around 13% of all women and yet spend wayyyy out of proportion on hair products.

No one knows why?

So, in this installment of ask a black man, why?
Dude, this would require a fundamental lesson in hair.

Lesson 1- The straighter your hair the more oils are naturally secreted.

Lesson 2- Without more natural oils (or in cases of curlier or kinky hair), oils are added to help hair stay healthy or to straighten it.

Lesson 3- If a person who secretes less oils into their hair naturally shampoos their hair often they will dry it out.

That means the curlier or kinkier the hair, the more care is involved.

the rest is the ridiculous money these women pay for different hairstyles.

I personally don’t understand spending nearly 100 bucks on your hair…but ignoring the 100lbs of extra body weight…but that’s another story.

Thanks for “Just asking a Black Guy”.

The name of that Chris Rock documentry is “Good hair” its f’ing funny its on netflix instaview for those with NF… Get some culture in your life:) Whats more amazing to me X is black women not only spend 100’s on hair before the light bill, but they often only have 1 or 2 women they trust to do their hair. You would think they were seeing a brain surgeon. I’ve seen my wife wait 4-6hrs so her stylist can do her hair. Also if a stylist moves a blackwomen will drive all the way 1hr across town to get her hair did.

For me the worst is the wrap… For any of you guys dating women of color dont let your woman come to bed with her hair wrapped up or you will be dommed to a life of mummy head. It starts out with dont touch and ends up mummy head 4 life. You may get to see her hair on bdays & anniverserys but thats it.

The truth is, no matter the color, women is crazy.

I have seen a closet filled to the ceiling with shoes and a woman stand there and claim she had nothing to wear.

I am perplexed and confused.

Tip to all women on the planet: No guy really cares what is on your feet unless
a) your feet look hideous and we can see that due to your TOELESS HEELS
b) the shoes are so ridiculous looking the giant flower petal on your big toe and the gold link chain make us actually notice your feet.
c) he’s gay
