We all know your formula for figuring out how many carbs/pro grams you need for the post work-out drink(Surge). But, what do you reccomend for the meal that follows an hour after? Do you have a bodyweight based formula for that as well? I’d appreciate your answer on this.
The carb and protein intake in the second post workout feeding is the same from what I recall, albeit this time from solid foods. However, I belive Mauro DiPasquale advocates a good fat intake in this meal to maximize intra-muscular fat storage, which is somethnig often overlooked.
Scott’s correct in that you should duplicate the ratios during the second pw meal. But only if you are interested in gaining wt. If you are dieting, get back to your normal meal plan about 60-90 minutes later.
