Kinda off topic, but not really. I spotted your cat in the boob thread , and in that pic and I hjad to tell you nice job!!
At work I see this alot with dogs and cats. there are a LOT of shitty pet food suppliers who are shady and it sucks because owners just want to do what’s best but they get screwed around and mislead. Great transformation! Your kitty looks fantastic and healthy

Blaze - I understand the purpose of the lift off but you can’t say I am NOT getting stronger without it.

That’s not what I’m saying at all. You’ve been making great progress. I was just noting it’s best to get a lift off, even from a random, than to unrack it yourself as far as shoulder safety/upper back tightness. Keep doing yo thang. lol.
Interesting conversation regarding the liftoff. My coach insists on lifting off for the exact reasons stated by Blaze: it pulls you out of position and therefore isn’t “greasing the groove” of the position you’ll be using on the platform.
That being said, I do BBB bench by myself on Saturdays and do my own liftoffs. I’m more flat backed on those days.
And regarding BMI: it’s the most ridiculous measure ever. Doesn’t take muscle or bone structure into account.
And that pic! Wowsie. You certainly seem comfortable in your skin. Which I just love.
Charlie - He said his girls (Macha being female too) looked to cute and comfy to pass up the picture.
MomCanLift - Hi, and I agree there is much crappiness to see hence why I started wearing a baseball cap. People don’t want help, especially from a girl so I let them do their silly stuff.
Nadia - I’m still 50/50 on the june meet. My brother says I’m “an athlete and I should just suck it up and kick some ass” On the other hand I just mailed my request to be part of the federation, and get my card a couple of weeks ago. I don’t even know if I will have it on time. I’m thinking of doing a meet closer to home which wouldn’t involve traveling for 3 days…
MFM - Your kid is 14 - I knew how to verify a browser history and do a google search, and that was 15 years ago. I’m sure kids today can build there own PCs…
Brute- Thanks! I need to bring her to the vet sometime soon so she can clip the corn from off her pads. I still can’t do it myself…
LS - The Month of May has been nothing but rain over here but last saturday was a splendind sunny day indeed.
Blaze - I know, but I’ll take my chances facing death rather than be teabagged and sweated on by the people in my regular gym. I practice the liftoff in my PL gym.
Snap - I agree that using both can’t be bad. If anything I’m practicing lockout and other movements without the liftoff.
Maschy - Joe got his version of the T I designed, with JoeGood as his name in the back. so cool.
Kmcnyc - That’s right your little man is around the same age. I would need to verify their astrological compatability first. Seriously the cuteness would explode and populate the world with purple unicorns.
PP - that vid is awesome! where did you pull that from?
Cal - I’ve told you time and again that cats adapt to environments. Get it neutered and declawed and it will be fine. My neighbor who lives in a studio takes his black cat outside on a leash a couple of times a day.
Deadlifts tonight. After 2 days of rest I’m feeling ready to kill it. And it’s warm enough to wear shorts so I’m busting out my blue deadlift socks and will strut them all the way to the gym. 'cause I roll like that.

He probably could - and if he saw your other pictures, I’m sure he would! But all he knows is that it was a video of someone squatting.
Besides that, it was on my work laptop, which he doesn’t have access to.
Now, bust out the long blue socks with pride, and lift something heavy!
