Overweight my ass…absolutely beautiful. We’re probably all overweight based on BMI (except for Kimba). It makes no allowance for muscle mass.

decided I was hardheaded enough to squat for a 3rd time this week. problem is my hip flexors weren’t having it. I was having issues with depth all night.

205 - fail. wasn’t having it tonight.

tried to increase my speed going down, push knees out, arch lower back and hit depth…

Hey, my hip flexors have been giving me a bit of grief when I squat too. I’ve been neglecting my stretching.

You know, I think most of the women on here would be considered “overweight” by normal standards. No one is, obviously, but that’s how the world is, dammit. Anything over a size 10 is “overweight”. So many people trying to get down to size 0 or 2 or 4. No thank you!

I’m right on the edge. Some days my BMI is over 25 and I’m overweight. Some days its not. Some days I start off being healthy and then by the end of the day I’m overweight…Very reliable measurement, that BMI calculation.

i don’t think the BMI factors in denser (hence heavier) bones that we get from lifting or the muscle mass that we have. it simply assumes that that extra weight is fat. stupid BMI. i have read a fair bit of stuff on how it isn’t appropriate for athletes for precisely those reasons.

Yesterday was a good family day, visited with mom, brother and family and an Aunt who was down for a visit from Nova Scotia. On our way back we stopped at the hospital and had supper with mother in law. I even rubbed her feet with a little tiger balm. Poor woman has been chained to the bed in a hospital for 2 months now. An can hardly feel her legs. Let alone move them.

Today is benching and BBQ ribs at the bros.

Tomorrow is a national holiday. God bless the queen for getting rid of a Monday.

rarely - I’m too anal about the finish product. I can retake the same picture 100 times to get the right light and such. working with others usually gets on my nerves.
