Quest for Amazon Legs

I want to second the above, I don’t see any reasons to pull out the hair. I will agree with you on the shorts though! Lulu bottoms just have never worked out for me though, I’ll have to live thru you for the moment.

The vid - well aside from the LIME GREEN walls, the very distracting shorts and the guy doing hip thruster curls in the background, I’ll agree the squats aren’t fantastic but they are still better than mine and you got the weight. So that’s a plus. Just keep working 'em and doing your mobility and it’ll slot into place fairly quickly.

Those squats were not as bad as you seem to think they were. Could they have been better? Yes, but they were by no means terrible and everybody’s squats are a work on progress.

You got a PR and some stuff to think about. Thats a win.

Thanks for indulging the Baby everyone

Forced myself to rest yesterday evening (so hard lounging at my bro’s pool.lol)

Had a good snack: greek yogourt, jam and a handful of oats for texture.

Grabbed my preworkout and sipped it at the gym rather than before which prevented the crash that usually occurs too early.

Warmup: shoulder dislocates 2x12.

Bench:
bar x12
100 x5
115 x5
125 x5
130 2x6 - felt strong today was aiming for 1x8 but hit the rack which screwed me. Went for a 2nd go to make up for it.

Clean and strict press: rack was in use so I decided to clean them.
60x5
70x5
80x5 - wanted more reps but the cleaning took more energy than planned

Clean and push press: fun time!
95 x1
105 x1 - equaled former Pr that I got after months of training a year ago. Shows how strong I’ve become. Yeah!
110 xfailx2
95 x1
100 x1
105 x1
110 xfailx2
95 x1
105 x1
110 xfail. damn what is it about 5lbs that I just couldn’t get up?
95 x 3 pushpress Rep PR+2

Old school T-Bar row:
bar + 45lbs x12
bar + 70lbs x12
bar + 80lbs x12
bar + 90lbs x12

Alternating Barbell corner press
bar + 35lbs 3x8

Treadmill 3mph
3 mins 0%
2 mins 5%
18 mins 8%
2 mins 10%
2 mins 12%
2 mins 14% - really happy with this. last time I had to drop speed at 2.5mph/
2 mins 0%

Happy to say that despite the cardio the weight is stable. Competed at 155 lbs, gained 6lbs since and eating like a hog to maintain it. Plan is to gain mass with the cardio for a couple of weeks. Beer is def my buddy for now

Oh yeah, and guess which bitch is going to see Disturbed this saturday???

that’s right

------------ this bitch is

I can’t believe I’m seeing this show on my own dammit. no fans in my circle. Anybody want to join me in Montreal this weekend?

head bangin

Boogie shorts! YEAH!

I didn’t think the squats were horrible, but I do understand wanting the form to be good. I’d certainly take those squats off your hands if you don’t want them anymore. I’m way sick of my knee cave and would trade you for the squat-mornings.

Also, your old-school T-bar rows are impressing the hell out of me.

Can’t wait to see what progress you make until your meet. I’m sure you’re gonna kick ass.

This sounds awesome!! Great plan, Frenchie.

I read what sarah said up there and I can’t agree more, you are a powerful woman, girl. You’re going to kill at provencials!

Snap - thanks for the info and putting my mind to rest.

DDot - haha! it’s snuffulafafuck. no way am I getting the spelling right. lol. Haven’t seen her/him/it(?) in ages…

Kristoph- always the gentleman and a pleasure to have around these parts. The mane hasn’t been too damaged although with the heatwave we are having, it is up in a permanent bun.

Peaches - thank you

Greg fist bump

G - Oui Monsieur. Chill I will and better them next week.

Brute - yup 5/3/1 acccessories: face pulls, db rows, millies, pushups on medecine ball, bi’s & tris on a loose rotation. Go get it!

Mim - Yes Tigger-mam

Lula - one issue concerning the boogie shorts- no good for running. constant thigh rubbing-blegh.

Cal - mobility is key. must keep on it.

Joe - a win eh? well I’ll take it.

kimba - now I’m thinking I must be doing something wrong on the t-bar rows. lol. I’ll vid next time.

Greenies - time is limited but I’m lifting and eating. we shall see what results we get.

Masch - thanks sweetie. now I have no choice but to kill it

Insomnia is the devil. I’ve danced with that bastard off and on my whole adult life.

I saw these percentages last time so this morning thought, oh, Frenchie does this after lifting heavy stuff so I should be able to do it first thing. Yeah, no. How do you not just fall backwards past 10%? It was either lower or hold handles to prevent falling off machine. I’ve already fallen off the stationary bike, I don’t want to be ‘that girl that falls off machines.’

What’s with the lack of sound sleepers over here. Since last Sat I can’t sleep the night through. I’m exhausted, don’t know how you move around those big girl weights when you have insomnia?

Disturbed is awesome music. I’d love to go to the concert with you. Damn the distance between us.

I’ve been having insomnia problems too. But I attribute it to my age. Here’s my most recent recipe to help with the problem: wine, massage, sex, sleep. Worked the other night.

Git - it’s often after having stellar evening workouts that it hits me. something about the intensity screws up my sleep patterns.

Peaches - you need to get used to it. when you hit an incline that feels too hard ie you need to hold on, bring the speed down to 2-2.5 mph. I had to work my way up to that. Really squeeze your butt to do the work rather than the knees.

MT - won’t be lifting tonight after 5hours of sleep. We shall see how I feel tomorrow.

Snap - sounds like a perfect recipe. hopefully the husband won’t be working too late tonight. if not the wine on its own should do the trick  They need to invent portals already.

I’m the same. The adrenalin from squats or deads messes with me.

Hit 46 celcius today. screw wearing a bra. Chilled white wine is a must now that the day is done.

I don’t remember the last time my upper back was this sore. good stuff.

booze and no bras?

This sounds like my kind of party

All I know is, its 95 F here and its getting late for that sort of thing. I’m hiding inside.

Sleep will improve. It always does.
