I keep fiddling with my attempt numbers as though I could unlock a secret combination to awesome. Lol.
Pick you goal for the lift and make your first attempt 85% of goal, your second attempt 92.5% and make your third attempt 100% of your goal.
Make your first attempt something easy where you can hit it on a bad day (so you can kind of gauge what your goal should be).
Who’s going with you? Will you have anyone to run your numbers etc?

Interesting that being so formulaic works for you. My strategies for determining attempt numbers are very different for each lift. And vary from meet to meet as well.
