And no, I’m not trying to pick on rainjack with that comment! Hell, most of the people who actually express opinions in these parts come across as condescending know-it-alls.
The fact that you are ascribing such an interpretation to comments on here just points to your way of thinking, not mine.
Anyway, other than Remz above, we haven’t really gotten much informed commentary to post on. Why don’t you comment on the topic at hand and give us something useful to discuss?

The only mistake in using the word “redneck” is in thinking that everybody in the south is one, or that all of them are dumb. I actually know a couple of rather intelligent and well-learned rednecks, which seems weird I know… these are men who appreciate the finer things in life: like Busch in a can, Kodiak, and illegal fishing; but nevertheless they remain well-spoken and edumacated.
Not all rednecks are dumb. A lot of them are, but not all.
