PWO Protein Bar + Powder

i know this might be a dumb question cut me some slack if so. But would it make sense if after a workout if all you have is a protein bar and then go home have have a half a scoop of protein powder would it be good or bad?

Better then nothing, but a post workout drink like Surge would be ideal. If you read the article for Surge in the T-Nation store it will explain why you want a mix of high glycemic carbs and amino acids to kick start recovery. Even if you don’t use Surge the article is great for explaining the theory for muscle recovery and growth behind it.

just mix a bunch of sugar with whey. make 2 shakes. one durign workout and one after then eat a meal when you get home. or buy surge. i normally mix my creatine with the shakes too because its CEE and that shit tastes like …shit
