If you had to chose one, what would it be?
Protein
In case you’re not aware, a complete protein like whey is an ample source of BCAA.
BCAAs are superior peri-workout because of the speed of absoprtion, but PWO, I’d opt for whey.

I usually go with BCAAs, Creatine and Waxy Maize, pre-peri-post then if I have time some whey (I usually train late at night and just have time for dinner, then bed) then a whole meal of protein and carbs

So Stu and Brian, would adding BCAA’s to a protein drink be overkill?
Yeah the BCAA is great pre and during wk/o but post Wk/o I rock the whey. or Surge. depends what im weighing. The Surge pack the lbs on mah ass but recovers me supa fast.

In most cases, yes, as long as you are using a high-quality, complete protein.

Grow! Whey is a unique whey extract that’s loaded with BCAA, so you’re set as far as BCAA intake.
As previously stated, BCAA’s pre or peri…
My best results with using BCAA’s was in a stack:
Surge Workout Fuel + Creatine + BCAA’s all pre-workout…
Chocolate Whey + 1 Scoop of whey (24g) + Favorite Cereal = Yumm…!
