Nice lifting Geaorge! You’ve gotten to where you are with amazing speed. I remember when you first arrived here, and look at what you’re doing now. One of the things I find most impressive is the elevation you’re doing this at.

Squats barx20, 135x5, 185x5, 225x3, 255x1, 275x1, 295x2 (pr reps +1)

Bench barx10, 115x5, 135x5, 155x1, 175x1, 195x2 (pr reps +1)

Lower right back developed a knot on the lower right side making it difficult to straighten my back enough to deadlift, so I stopped here. I’ll try this again tomorrow.

Great work, George, those lifts looked very solid.

George, your squats have looked very good lately, as in “Here’s a video of how to do squats.” caliber.

I get those in the same spot on my right calf that was affected by my back injury. I always seem to have more use of it the day after than previous to the spasms. Might just be the spot a’healin’.

The food, wine and ice cream did indeed work their wonders. The “Gentleman” waited until last and only a small glass then.

The back is easing up and I hope that by tomorrow it will be mostly gone.

The back is still being a real bitch despite having heat packs on it for 2 days. Squatting down and loading the wood stove caused it to cramp up tonight.

At this rate, I may as well kiss that meet goodbye - but I’ll still be there to cheer the ladies on and video all of 'em!

Oh, God, no. Seriously? Oh George. I’m so sorry. Perhaps if you rest until the meet you can still do it?

Better get there early if you’re gonna vid me. Being little and raw, I’ll be the first one on the platform. Both Brute and PMPM will lift much later in the flight or perhaps a second flight altogether since they both handle really serious squat weight. In fact, I think they put PMPM with the men last year because her squat weights were so outrageous.

I’m hoping that rest and heat will do the trick. I’ll probably work up to openers this weekend to test it out, we’ll see then.

I’m sending feel-better karma to your back. There is indeed still time for this to resolve before the meet, and the rest will probably do you good.
