About a year ago I heard Pumping Iron would be re-released on HBO sometime, but haven’t heard anything since then. Anyone know what’s up with this, or if a DVD release is a possiblility any time soon?
I heard that Arnold wants to get into politics & he doesn’t want Pummping Iron to be out because it shows him toking at the end.
I was just chatting with some guys at the gym about this as we had heard the same rumor as well. I talked to a couple movie stores here in town but they knew nothing about it. Supposedly the DVD is suppose to have enough extra footage that they could have made another movie.
Do you really think they would release an obscure movie like that on DVD any time soon? I love that flick, but I doubt it will be on DVD anytime soon if at all.
