What are your thoughts on trying to achieve a pump in the muscle before doing the all-out, mTor activating set?
In many occasions you said that accentuated eccentrics work more effectively if a muscle is already pumped. Does this apply to the kind of technique used in your Best Damn Program?
If so, what’s a good way to achieve a pump before the set while keeping volume and cortisol in check?
Do the program as written. The whole principle of the program is achieving growth stimulation with the least amount of volume of possible. Adding enough sets to achieve a max pump goes against that.
And if I thought it would be more effective, I would have written the program that way.
