I was actually raised Southern Baptist and converted to Catholicism.
Everytime I see pentacostals, shakers, quakers, et al…I laugh.

Catholocism for the win. We don’t have to worry about all that other silly shit, like sitting in a church for more than an hour at a time.[/quote]

I agree. Priests take a vow of poverty, along with the celibacy thing (poor bastards). I have trouble trusting over fed, over blinged, and too well dressed men who claim to serve the Lord. If you’re wearing something that costs more than I make in a week, you’re not getting my tithe.
thank god i’m jewish
You’re Jewish?! Get off my friend’s list!

You sound a little bitter there pal. Did a priest touch you when you were young? Are you still holding a grudge? Did that priest become >gasp< the POPE?!?!
Get the fuck over yourself.

No doucher I am not catholic, wow don’t get mad I was joking, fuck the pope. HAHAHAHAHA
Leadership in the mormon church doesn’t get paid, except maybe in the highest positions…maybe. You get to have a bunch of wives too. Personally I think that’s a curse, but to each his own I guess.
bam, instant ordination. I got mine in 01. And when you fill out the info, you can tell them what title you want…pastor, shaman, druid, whatever.
You are forgiven, my son.
And the vow of poverty is monks and nuns, not priests. At least not most Protestant denominations anyway, I don’t know about catholics.

ha ha Im not married.
I converted for a number of reasons, mainly dissatisfaction with the blatant lies of history being told by the protestants in the south regarding Church history.
Being a history major, I tend to get angry over blatant historical lies.
