just noticed the price increase of protein supplements?
with gas costing less, I hope the cost of food products starts to go down too

Its a little discouraging. With food prices high supplements will definatley take a back seat. I already swallowed the HUGE price increase on the ZMA and wont be accepting raises like that in the future. Sorry Biotest.
i just loaded up with 6 bottles of Surge for 108 bucks yo, noone else get that email?
Unfortunately, raw protein prices continue to increase despite lower fuel costs and the industry-wide forecast is for more of the same.
We’ve held off rising our prices for longer than our competitors, but it got to the point where we had to raise prices to cover the additional cost of manufacturing these products.
However, we have instituted special pricing on multiples for some products to help offset this.
For example, all Metabolic Drive Low-Carb and Complete Super Protein Shake are now $30 a bottle when you purchase 4 or more.
Just remember that all items need to be shipped together so that we can take advantage of lower shipping costs per item to continue to offer these discounts.
I wish you guys would have better advertised the bulk discount point. I don’t recall receiving an email or seeing a site announcement.
Wow! No e-mail here either. I would definitely take advantage of that deal–why no email or general anouncement?

It was only for the Root Beer and Vanilla flavors of Surge and for the Orange Metabolic Drive. The email said they are getting rid of those flavors to make room for new flavors later on.
It was a good deal, but those are probably the three flavors I like the least, so I passed on it.
Yeah, I didn’t get any email, and actually just purchased a few of the 5 lb whey powders because I need to cut my Metabolic Drive expenses every month for a while.

The majority of whey comes from China…they have raised the prices on the supply…and guess who pays more. us

We have never used protein from China.
The fact is that the cost of quality protein continues to increase from all sources.
All of our proteins are produced in United States.

Seriously.
Anyone recall for how long the deal lasted? When did it ‘expire’ ?
I don’t think I ever opted out of the Biotest emails. Sucks.

Yeah, I was tempted for sure. I just remember there was a reason I never ordered either of those two flavors again. I know some people liked them, but they were both gag inducing for me.

So what’s up with most people not getting emails? My original post was also directed to Biotest customer service, but I’ve gotten no reply so far.

it says during normal business hours. so, probably no word till Monday.
I feel fortunate that I got the email about the sale, even though I had to get Rootbeer Surge, I saved $108 dollars If I consider the new increase in price.

Since quantities were extremely limited, we just sent the message to those customers that had previously purchased the products.
