Protein and Fats Around Workout

So im not new to lifting but I struggle with some of the pretty basic dietary concepts which I think are holding me back. Im 6’1, 225lbs and 21% bodyfat. I would like to cut this down to 10% over the next few months.

So ive been following some of Christians “refined physqiue transformation” tips but im curious about the macro breakdowns. I get how much protein I need to get in and that I need to up my fats for a 50/50 split for two weeks and then ill drop it down to 75p/35f.

But the one thing Im confused on is fats around workouts. Ive always thought it was better to keep fats really low on workout days as it messed with nutrient uptake/anabolism. Is it ok to take in that much fat on workout days but just keep it away from my workouts?

Thanks for any advice

cuz

It is fine to have high fat on a workout day just don’t consume them during the peri-workout period.

Thanks for the info man. When I lean down a bit and start reintroducing carbs into my workout days, I lower fat to compensate for the carbs right?

If you are looking to maintain your weight, then yes that is what I would do.
If your attempting to add some size then my first step in reintroducing carbs would be to add them to the peri-workout period and I wouldn’t reduce fats.
