I’ll chime in with my two yen…

I have been using this for 9 days ( yellow pills ) and have noticed nothing. No pumps… nada. But hunger has gone up.

Anyone think that 2 pills at a time would be a very bad idea? If the red have 750mg, then that would only be an extra 250mg per serving more.[/quote]

no i wouldnt take another pill… the extra 250 in the red ones are a different ingredient. cissus or something.

be patient. if you are more insulin resistant it will take a while before you notice anything, or that’s what they say. and by improving your body’s ability to store carbs, it should improve your insulin sensitivity with time.

i do know for sure that it has improved my digestion a lot. many ppl are noticing this. insulin resistant ppl cant digest carbs very well and usually have gas problems or GI distress. i can feel much improvement in that regard for sure.

corosolic acid has been around for a while I used it in 2001. There is a product called d-pintol from gnc. It works well as a glucose disposal agent

I’ve been taking AP for one week now. I do notice a fuller pump during workouts…and during some points during the day.

Having said that…no strength increases, nor physicals changes. It’s only been a week…so my thumbs up or down won’t come until I complete the bottle.

I’m also on the yellow caps…I would like to try the red ones.

Day 19

Results have tapered off a lot in the past week and a half. Pumps are still better but I haven’t really had much of a body comp change.

Overall, I’m up a pound or two. This is not really significant.

11 days left… I’ll let you guys know what happens.

OK. AP Day 40. 5 solid weeks 3 caps/day.

5 solid pounds of bodyweight gained after a slow initial performance. Much improved pumps at the gym. Despite going on a cruise and taking ephedrine to suppress my appetite, I some how continued to gain weight.

My body fat is probably the same or minus a pound.

I think the key is just popping AP whenever you can and sometimes hit 4 caps per day.

I’d say it has some potential for now.

will continue…

Anything further?

I completed my bottle of red ones. I wish I had two more hands so I could give this product “four thumbs down”.

Sorry just now seeing this thread.

I was selected by USPLabs back in January to test this stuff out(cinnamon colored pills). I ran a journal on another website with what I ate after each pill and what not.

I can honestly say I was bigger out of the gym and pumps were insane in the gym. Energy was insane as well, but I mean you are eating more carbs. I could lift not really more weight but definitely got more reps it seemed every workout. Recovery was greatly increased, intense workout soreness only lasted the day after. Which usually last atleast 2-3 days depending on how heavy I go.

You definitely got to drink alot of water, if you don’t you’ll notice you’ll get slight head aches by mid-day. This stuff also has an effect on other supplements you take, testosterone boosters like you wouldn’t believe. I was finishing a bottle of Jungle Warfare, and the second to last week of it I started AP. After a week on AP, I noticed a jump in libido big time and and increased tightness/hardness in my muscles. That decreased after the JW was gone, but the workout pumps just got better and better.

Also with Cissus being in the product, a minor shoulder pain disappeared after a month.

I’d totally recommend this product to anyone, just get 1 bottle and see how well you respond to it. I don’t think you notice the pump by just eating, but it is there I’d compare it to a light warmup set. On nonworkout days after an hour from eating, I noticed everytime I flexed I felt fuller. On workout days the pumps got insane, after a back to back bicep/tricep workout my arms measured 19 3/4" which I added 1/4" after 2 weeks into the test.

I think $50 is alittle pricey, but it definitely does what it says. I’d gladly dish out $50 on AP before I put any money into a Nitrous Oxide supplement thats for sure. The more time I’ve been off it the more I definitely miss it.

Also I have no connection or obligation with USPLabs from this test.

Quite hard to belive after reading bugs posts.

I guess I’ll have to buy a bottle my self and test it. Or just wait a few months to se more opinions. Anabolic Pump sounds to good to be true. Unfortunately I think it is.

I’ve been on it for 2 months. Doesn’t do anything. I have about 2 weeks worth of it left. I’ll continue to take it until it runs out, then no more. There are more effective and less expensive supplements out there; like TRIBEX and BCAAs.

What types of foods have you been eating after the pills? And how many grams of carbs do you eat? How much water do you drink?

One thing that worked well for me was Oatmeal mixed with Cream of Wheat. It may sound kind of gross, but after I tried it I actually prefer the two together than Oatmeal alone. I’d eat a bowl of this mix with Maple Syrup/Honey, a banana, an apple, and a yogurt for my carb loading. Sometimes I’d switch the Oats/Wheat with a sweet potato, but always ate the rest.

I think one thing is how much you respond to carbs, I’ve seen alot of good and alot of bad with this supplement. Which is why I say just to run 1 bottle of it, and see how you respond.

Look how well FunkMaster is responding, it sounds to me its doing exactly what it should for him.

And yes I have no ties with USP, why would I be on a Biotest site and have never hyped USP but this once? If you want more proof go through all my posts in my bio page, not once have I ever boosted USP. I only posted about AP because it worked really well for me, and I’d like to see if people get similar results. I mean why not help out other T-Nation people if I know of something new that worked for me? Besides I’ve only used this one product from them and only because it was a free test!

Almost 2 months down…

Almost 2 bottles down…

Still up 6 pounds and my bodyfat has NOT gone up. Granted, 2 months is a pretty significant time period but my bodyweight has been relatively stable over the past year or so. This supplement has some merit.

Does it live up to its claims?

Of course not.

I say give it a bottle and eat clean and see what happens. For me, this stuff works better than Carbolin 19, Methoxy-7, and every other “nutriient patitioning agent” I have tried.

I’m going to run it for 3 months straight here in May when I start in my cardio, with Jungle Warfare by ALRI.

FunkMaster, have you ran Carbolin 19 with Anabolic pump yet? Or any type of test booster, like Alpha Male? If not you should, that stuff definitely amplified Jungle Warfare for me. I’d use Alpha Male but the sharp edges of the pills kill my throat.

When I start my bulk in a few short weeks I’m going to try out AP. I’m also going to use it with Carbolin 19.

I have a question though, if I lift first thing in the morning and take Power Drive, when should I take the Power Drive in relation to AP?

Bump.

Any updates?

Been using it 4 days. Not noticing anything at all despite my lentil salads and oatmeal. My opinion so far? This stuff blows…
