Also, Pride announced Gomi/Ishida for NYE…except it’s non-title. Thanks for nothing dick wads.

That’s dumb. Anyway I consider Ishida the real champ.

Yesterday DSE stated that the 2006 Otoko Matsuri Fumetsu show (shockwave) will be available live online for 3150 yen at DMM.com.
I do not know about availability outside Japan.

Are you not able to get it as a Pay-Per-View on TV? How would a webcast generally go over in Japan?

Haha…it’s funny because it’s true.

What are peoples predictions for Tito vs. Chuck?

I want Tito to take him down and beat him, but for some reason I think he’ll try to stand up with Chuck and get KO’d.[/quote]

I agree, he will almost certainly get caught by another Liddel flurry. I’d like a little shake-up and to see someone beat Chuck, but I hate Tito and seeing him get KTFO always makes me smile.

Yes we can see it on tv. I do not know how a webcast would do. I would like to see how many buys it produces. DMM is one of Pride’s recent sponsors. DMM is growing in popularity, so it was a good move. DMM also showed the OWGP finals online for free(after it aired on PPV). They had commerials on tv for that.
I personally would rather see it on tv.

While Pride is having trouble, no doubt about that, there are some important things to remember. CroCop usually signs 1 fight deals and spreads rumors that he is accepting offers from other orgs. It helps drive up his pay and create a buzz by keeping his name in the news. Fedor’s contract with Pride has a stipulation saying he can take fights in Russia with any promoter. Could either of these guys be going other places? Maybe, but posturing like Mirko is now is nothing new, it’s just good business. My guess is they are waiting to see who buys Pride from Dreamstage.

Fedor broke his toes in training, might be out for NYE.
