Predictions? Let's Have It!

It’s almost as if markets don’t like a candidate who openly proposes policies that will bring economic ruin and Constitutional crisis upon the world’s most powerful country.

That is a very specific prediction! I could totally see Trump doing a TV channel. Ugh…

I’m still sticking with my original though

Word on the street is that this has been the back up plan for months. But we’ll see. My other predictions could be completely wrong. Trump could lose by significantly more, or win by a landslide. Who the hell knows at this point other than the writers of tomorrow’s paper?

I just got up to go to the washroom after going to bed early last night.

Holy shit was I wrong. And not just a little, I was colossally wrong. It’s going to be an interesting 4 years.

My thoughts exactly. Clinton took an electoral beat down and I did not see that coming.

Nope, me neither. I thought Trump would gain from the late-breaking FBI news, but not like this.

There is much teeth gnashing this morning, but Democrats have only themselves to blame. They have a near-impossible task of winning a third term, and who do they nominate (coronate)? One of the most unlikeable candidates, with truckloads of baggage, and beset with fresh new scandals.

Democrats now have to look in the mirror and admit we couldn’t even beat Donald Trump for the presidency.

And don’t forget, TB…

Despite everything…the GOP also retained control over the House and Senate.

An incredible result. All three branches.

And for me…that means that 8 plus years of whining (and Conservatives have surely elevated whining to a socio-political Art Form…)

It’s time to put up…shut up…and Govern.

This is a great opportunity to prove conservative principles and governance are better for America.

Hopefully, they don’t blow it…

I picked Trump to win handily months ago

Zeb predicted a Trump win but not by how much

SkyzykS predicted Trump win by 3%

Everyone else overwhelmingly chose Clinton

By the way I think @Sloth is honoring his bet with zeb and leaving tnation.com for good. He deleted his avatar.

Personally I think leave tnation bets are dumb no posts bother me enough to ever block anyone

I will not be posting in PWI after today. Zeb is one of the most dishonest people I’ve ever encountered, but he didn’t force me to make the bet.

I’ll stand by my word. I’m sure that’s how Sloth feels as well.

You were part of the bet? Disappointing.

Edit: Idk what its worth, but I think you should stay. Your posts add value.

On the one hand you’re a dope for making that bet. On the other no one will care if you don’t honour it

Say What? Actually I think there were plenty of others picking Trump like @MaximusB @Alrightmiami19c @verne even cautiously @Mufasa

I think you should stand by your pledge even though you are one of my favorite posters, because it proves something about your character that most of us likely already feel.

I know you’re shocked, as we all are, but I hope you stay. The entire world got this election completely wrong.

Some of the data is showing that blacks and Latinos didn’t show up for Hillary the way they did for Obama, and the rural white vote was huge for Trump. Independents also went for Trump.

I’ll care, but that’s the difference between you and I.

I appreciate the kind words. The bet was for a year and I’ll honor it.

The honor comes from you intending to keep your word. You’re a damn good dude, everyone in here knows it. I understand if you leave but I hope you don’t.
