Pre-Workout & Protein Timing

I’m currently taking, and have been for a very long time now, weight gainer. I drink one before and after every workout, sometimes during depending on wallet thickness. I want to start taking jack3d, but other pre-workout formulas I’ve taken in the past suggest consumption 30-45 minutes before a workout on an empty stomach. The protein shake also requires me to take it at about the same time so I was wondering how to most people get around this?

Jack3d is some crazy stuff. Probably has amphetamines in it. Have fun with it.

O and just drink the protein shake a little while after the stimulant. It’s not a big deal.

No but I know a handful of people who have. They all say its more potent than anything theyve experienced. Not complete noobs either.

I think USP has a shady background, that I could be wrong about though. Confusing it with another company maybe.

Stimulants in general don’t usually give me a very big effect(NO-KO, Caffeine in general, No Xplod, Black Powder) but when I tried Jack3d it was unreal. I literally pushed myself to the point of puking in the gym several days in a row because I had no ‘brakes’ I could tell until I was literally ralfing in the trash can. I eventually came to my senses and stopped taking the amount I was, but it would be something I would approach pretty carefully.

Jacked is some intense shit, it doesn’t give you that sugary feel that N-Xplod does. And be sure to start with a small dose, I took two scoops one day and I thought I was going to have a heart attack after doing a heavy set of db presses.

new to the forum and to T-Nation. I am a novice when it comes to new products. I am currently 21 years old, 5’10 178 lbs. When I was 17, I was 203 lbs, lean and cut. I simply stopped working out for 3.5 years. I recently quit smoking cigs, and am getting myself in the gym everyday with a focused work out routine. I use jack3d as my pre workout and have never been more focused. I have a whey shake in the morn, jacked pre workout and extend during/post workout. its been working for me, dont know if its a placebo effect or not but i feel significantly more focused during my workouts. This is crucial for me, as I am easily distracted. thats just my 2 cents, good luck!

is it brand new? is the company purposely putting some good shit in the supplement to create hysteria and then secretly change it to crap as soon as its famous?

Thanks for the input. I guess I’ll just start off with one scoop, and have the pre workout protein shake a few minutes after the jack3d.

I have used Jack3d since it came out on and off, and I really like it as a pre-workout. It is pretty potent, but has always worked well for me.

haha, ok guys I know jack3d is legit. My question was simply about timing it’s consumption while also taking a pre-workout protein shake.
