Pre workout nutrition

Ok, so how do I get in ketosis?

Your muscles work need glycogen replenishment first

If that is truly your goal, the most common approach for medical ketosis is to consume fewer than 20g of carbs and a macro split of 80% of energy from fats and 20% from protein.

It’s not. Just curious. So, it’s best to use glycogen during weight lifting, right? Or no?

You don’t really have a choice in the matter. The energy system employed is determined by intensity and duration of activity

Won’t make a difference. Pre/peri nutrition is overrated imo. What you ate the day before will be largely responsible for fuelling today’s activity.

I would say put a little bit of salt in your pre workout and eat some kind of carbohydrate, I normally do dates or a rice cake and fuck sugary protein bars.

What if you didn’t eat enough yesterday?

1 day of undereating has less of an effect on performance than people believe. The body has a lot of reserves to pull from
