I’ve tried lots of NO products over the past few years and decided to make up my own version:
3-4g AAKG, 3-5g creatine, 5g glutamine, 3g HMB with plenty of water and a coffee.
I am planning to try out this stack tomorrow morning before hitting arms. I stacked creatine and hmb this morning before doing legs and found the two very effective. The other products have just arrived so it will be interesting to see if the four pure powders combined will be as effective as the big brand NO products which have stimulants and fillers inside them. No Xplode and I believe Xpand have just been banned in New Zealand( where I live)due to having a prescription only ingredient.
If anybody is interested I can post results later.
I am also currently stacking tongkat ali and tribulus in a pure powdered form. Tastes disgusting but appears to be working.
Maybe they need to try pure active pharmaceutical ingredients maybe not suspect ingredients big brands put in there products to keep the cost down. I’ve used No Xplode, Superpump 250, Xpand, Vassive No and they all give you the ‘pump’ effect. Some have so many stimulants in them you feel like your ‘peaking off your tits’ Three things have kept me motivated going 4 times a week to the gym (5:30am workouts) for over 3 years-Good eating, a
good workout program and a preworkout drink so you can kick butt and never have a bad workout.
As long as I can buy NO I’ll keep using as it gets me amped and probably does to millions of other gym rats.

Mine is simple, 1 scoop ON whey+water when i wake up at 730 a.m. and start workout around 20 min later.
It works great for me but my pre and post isnt the norm but i get good results so its a mystery to me how its been working lol
I seem to break all the rules of proper pre/post drinks that i have read
That’s because there are no real rules. Many gym goers “need” a pre WO stimulant the way most people “need” their coffee fix to get going in the morning. It’s just a habit.

I use NO OVERLOAD, with a monster energy drink, and I get so amped on the car ride over there I sometimes swerve while I drive
I’ve mentioned it before and will again. Half hour before workout I start drinking a can of Spike Shooter. Right before workout I slam about six to eight BCAA’s and two BETA-7. This gets me pretty amped for the workout in a very good way.
To go a step further a couple hours before this when I wake up I take six to eight BCAA’s and my REZ-V. An hour later Metabolic Drive with Superfood and assorted additives. My pre workout fuel so to speak.
Really people, NO sups? HMB? Im surprised that is still around.
This is why we need those regular columns on supplements that Cy used to do. Those were really eye opening for me when i first came here. Half that information would even be seen as “new” to most of the members here. All the talk of helping out the newbies means nothing if we dont talk about the bullshit in the supplement industry on a regular basis.
