Great work going on in here. I don’t see you having much of a problem qualifying for nationals. I was amazed while reading your post about optimizing T. I’ve, somehow, ended up doing almost all of those things purely by chance. Well, all of them except not drinking beer… :man_facepalming: I may add that we unplug our router at night and turn our phones to air plane mode. My wife thinks that helps a lot with sleep.

If you have not had it checked yet, I would recommend checking it. It will give you a reference for later besides letting you know where you are at now with your Testosterone.

I read that a man being prescribed t for low t problems is like prescribing estrogen for a menopausal woman. Starting to make more sense.

I appreciate your tips for supplements. I was already doing most of them, but I have added Pomegranate juice after doing own research. It really is a powerful addition. Thanks again.

If you go for it you will have to let me know how it works out.

Glad to be of some use.

Fair enough.

Urologist meeting next week may “get me off the fence”. With t at 245 I only have about 2 low t symptoms, but I’ve noticed I’m getting weaker in gym and I am concerned about possible cardiovascular problems later in life. My 40 something friend who’s worked out for decades, registered t of 55 with mucho symptoms. 13 weeks later with t registering about 800 on twice weekly shots of bare minimum dosage, he’s a horny, incredible hulk. Jeez.

His only comment on the horniness effects could trigger a cardiovascular event.

That’s the way to go!

Try hanging after squatting. Makes the spine feel so good.

Another year in the rear view.
My 2022 highlights.

  1. Finished cancer treatments.
  2. My son finished his enlistment in the Air Force and moved back close to home.
  3. Bought my first street bike.
  4. Daughter number 2 got married.
  5. Proposed to the cute bodybuilder/powerlifting lady I met at the gym and she said yes.

I’d say that was a pretty good year.

Finishing cancer treatments deservedly is top of the list, but getting first street bike at your age…I’m with you in spirit on that one. After I survived a life threatening illness at 50 I bought my first bike. My 1/2 mile nearest neighbor said “there goes the neighborhood”. Wrong.

Happy New Year and many more to come. Top of your list for next year’ll be keeping that powerlifter lady happy. Goal for each of you would be to “get more than you give”.

Gym was very busy. I have never had to park so far away. A guy should not have to walk so far to get some exercise.

Great work those last several sessions. I agree with previous posters, looks like 2022 was a great year for you. Hope 2023 is also a great one!
