We have a Maxwell. I like Victor, but you said you’d have a Victoria for a girl. Drew isn’t bad. Stay the heck AWAY from Darcy, though!
Jack
Alexander (Lex)
Vincent (Vinny, Vince)
Think of family names on both sides and go from there.

There’s a Bull-rider named Tuff Hedeman. Not only is it a bad ass name, but it’s spelled wrong to give it that extra badness.
You never see a bull-rider named Pansy or SissyPants…

Congrats on your big-dicked son.

My nephew’s name is Max Dunn. Fucking Awesome! He is either going to be a boxer or a fullback. I love it!

Save the…unusual names for the girl. Pick a normal name for boy.
Ditto.
I think the name John is by far the most masculine name for a man. Also Samuel or Samson, Jack.

I dont know, but if your last name is Kurtz, dont name him Richard. (my bio teacher.)
I personally like the name Seamus, but it wouldn’t really work too well unless you had some Irish heritage.

Here’s a woman’s point of view…let her name the kid. If you got to pick the “masculine” name for the first son, she should definitely be entitled to picking out the second one. After all, she is the one who carries the kid for nine months, has to squeeze what feels like a watermelon out of a hole the size of a grape, and then has to go through a complete body change to get her body back to how it was pre-pregnancy. So do her a little favor and let her have the damn name. I’m pretty sure you’re going to love the kid regardless of what his name is, and if you don’t, you’re an ass.
The question Warg had was “what is a manly name?” not “should I let my GF pick the name?”
So your input, what you just typed out up above, is worthless.
So is yours lostinthought… I dig ya but you’re off base.
Come to the table with cool names or simmer down.
As for name pics, I too am a big fan of Jack. Jack Kennedy, Jack Nicholson, Jack Lambert, Jack Bauer, Jack Myhogoff, all manly men.
Honorable mentions would also be
Drew (if you want him to be a quarterback)
Deuce (if you want him to be a running back)
Troy
Hunter (as in S. Thompson)
Johnny
Joey (although that’s a baby Kanga in Aus, right?)
Brock
HHH (Trip for short)
Chuck (never knew a gay or effeminate chuck)
Bo (as in Schembechler/Duke)
Luke (as in Duke, fuck that Skywalker biotch)
Lloyd (as in Carr)
Lou
My .2 cents
GAINER
Jack is a great one, as in “Jack Dempsey”, “Jack Daniels”, “Jack McDowell” (MLB pitcher who gave everyone the finger). That is why it is certainly my first choice.
Daniel is another one. Classic Irish name- “Danny Boy”. Daniel Morgan, Virginia rifleman who fought in the battle of Cowpens in the Revolutionary War. Tough bastard.
Michael - archangel who cast Satan out of Paradise. However, too many people named this.
Seamus- cool because you say it nothing like its spelled.
Sue- cause Johnny Cash says it will make him tough. And he was right.
Chuck- with the middle name Norris. He will never get picked on. Ever.
Ever.

Being as he’s a bullrider, then it wouldn’t make sense to spell it the right way.

It’s a name you’d love to touch, but you musn’t touch.
His name sounds good in your ear,
but when you say it you musn’t fear,
for his name, can be said, by anyone.
I know 2 little boys named Loop Tyler and Rope Dustin. (Yeah, their mom wants them to be rodeo boys.)
Here’s some more names:
Holden
Jacob/Jake
Eric
Crap, my daughter is watching Little Bear and now I can only think of pansy names.

I’ve never seen his birth certificate, so there is that narrow chance that he just never learned to spell it correctly.

My sister and her husband have had three girls…Brandi, Bayeli, and Brooke…
They’ve been trying for a boy, and they’re deadset on Rope for a first name.
I don’t care how cowboy you are - please never name your kid Rope - I really hope I don’t offend anyone here, but that’s just mind-blowingly stupid.

GAINER,
Point well taken, so here’s my contribution.
Gage
Dalton(as a first name)
John and Jack…can’t go wrong there
Garred
Stone
On a side note, did anyone notice that the dude in the powerful images pic today doesn’t have a schlong and is wearing women’s undies?
His name is probably Darcy or Kelsey or something.

My first kid’s name is gonna be “lamp”. Doesn’t matter whether its a boy or a girl.
I love lamp.
I would never associate Roland with power. This name conjours a fat, bespectacled kid to me, just like the German exchange student from my senior year in HS.
Gunther makes me think of “you touch my tra la la”.
The ultimate tough name for a boy is “Sue”

I feel the same way about Desk.
I only hope that he/she will be as big of an afficianado of a nice pair of slacks as I am.
Sean as in Connery
Jack
Tom
Darcy sounds like some kind of kitchen towell
