Now as far as the double standard goes, uh . . . men and women are different. Just because I want to be 260 pounds of muscle doesn’t mean I’m attracted to women that are. I really don’t understand why this is so hard to grasp.
I do grasp that. I don’t think you have to be attracted to her. I think what pisses me off is when some of you guys (notice I didn’t say all, Massif), rather than looking at her physique and recognizing her hard work, only look at her in terms of her hittableness.
Who said it went unrecognized. Anyone here who has achieved any type of physique knows the work/dedication involved. The rest is guys being guys.
Get over it.
If you are who I think you are(did you change your screen name?) then you certainly don’t mind flirting with the boys or getting all the attention. Do you think that’s just because we admired your dedication? Please!!
And if it’s not you I apologize for assuming. I know that’s a bad thing

That woman was most definately on the juice.
I don’t know, I’m not an expert at picking them out. But I don’t see that she’s any more developed than Christiane was in her recent competition and no one questioned whether she was using.
You’re right. Never in my life have I heard any women sitting around discussing THIS EXACT SAME THING wrt a guy. I wish I could be so evolved too.
Ah. Well that aint changing. But in the future if I ever decide to post a comment about a female bodybuilder’s looks I’ll make sure to mention how hard she worked.

It irritates you because it’s not about you. If you were as proud as that woman is about the way you look you’d be flashing skin every chance you got. Bottom line: sexy women get big reactions. If you don’t like what anyone is saying, then don’t look.
Well you’re an asshole, aren’t you?
Don’t you dare talk about Jilly like that. That’s not at all why she doesn’t like this thread.
I’d bet it has to do with the negative comments about something as stupid as low bf and small breasts when this woman has obviously worked her ass off to get to the physical condition she is in.
I think she looks awesome. I especially like that she was (at the time of this picture) secure enough with her body to not need to augment it even though she lost breast size due to leaning out.
I find the double standard about muscularity to be irritating. You guys are all about getting huge and strong and shredded but you seem to want the women to stay smaller and weaker. Rather than applauding someone for her hard work you say she looks disgusting or too manly or needs to have less muscle.
Why should a woman stop lifting as hard or just maintain herself at a certain level instead of continuing to push herself to achieve more strength or gain more muscle? I don’t find any woman too muscular until she starts using gear. Same with guys, I prefer natural.
Well, nice job at calling me an asshole. Besides that, you’re little bitchy fit had abosolutely nothing to with anything from my original post. There’s a shitload of guys on this thread that made comments about her breasts. But you chose to attack me. Obviously because I brought up the insecurity issue. Must’ve struck a nerve there, eh sic.

Hard work per se is worthless. I’ve seen a bum working really hard to count all fallen leaves in a park.
That… um… person in the picture worked really hard to get a beautiful male body. Too bad though, she’s genetically female.
Kind of like Michael Jackson - you know, the ugly black kid who became a beautiful white woman. Hard work there, too.

I’m still in awe that so many men are fixated on breasts. They cringe at the thought of an obese woman but yet they are obsessed with two wads of fat that are hanging from a womans chest. Not that the right breasts on the right woman can’t and are pretty.
Breast Obsession non sensical and juvenile.
The point I was making which during your breast obsession you failed to grasp is that obsessing over a womans breasst is like a woman obsessing over a mans mustache it is in essence just hair just like the reality of the situation is breasts are fatty tissue with some milk ducts thrown in for good measure.
Nothing you say can change that fact anymore than anything anyone says can change the fact a mustache is just hair.
I also stated clearly breasts can be pretty sure enough I just happen to be a person who finds more to a woman than just her breasts.
Attacking someones analogies or opinions now that Non sensical and juvenile.

What??? It’s just hair, it’s just fatty tissue…blah, blah, blah. That’s the dumbest shit I have heard in some time. You can’t break something down to it’s elemental level and say that it’s a waste to obsess over that.
Everyone has a physical preference that is based on “just something”…just skin, just muscles, just ass, just eyes, etc. Who died and made you judge and jury on what is acceptable to obsess over. If the man prefers tits, he’s got a right to express that in this open forum. Just like you have a right to be such a dumbass.
Does anyone think there is something funny going on with her right arm. I think it looks a fair bit bigger than her left. At first I thought it was just lighting, but now I’m not too sure.

Yes, now that you mention it. It doesn’t seem to be the lighting either since the difference appears in the picture posted by Zen Warrior as well. If it was a guy, I guess I’d have a valid explanation…
Even with knowing that she doesn’t tan her face, it still looks shopped.
As for the juice accusations, look at the other pic of her that was posted. She looks much smaller. I think it’s just the pose that makes her look big.
Reading the responses, it’s painfully apparent that too many men here haven’t seen a topless woman (with natural breasts) yet. Most people’s chests disappear when they move their arms above their heads. Male bodybuilders have that problem, too.
Beautiful face, strong back, flat stomach, and great legs. She has a lot of what many straight men want in a woman. It’s good because the way she presents her body in the Powerful Image, you can tell that she is secure enough with herself not to even think about the size of her breasts. THAT, not breast size, is incredibly attractive to me.
I like strong women, in every aspect. I also like boobs. I, myself, would like to be strong too. I think these preferences can be compatible.
I didn’t always apreciate female muscle, yet still wanted to be strong myself. Those preferences, too, were not incompatible.
Men like what they like, and it has nothing to do with their own appearance. Also, in general, men like boobs. Some like them so much, it becomes a requirement for their prospective mates; others will gladly sacrifice some bra size in favour of other attributes.
Is T-Nation real life, though? For most people I don’t think it is, so they see a pic and take it for what it is: an image. They don’t see the person, they don’t see the environment or the circumstances, they just see an image, frozen in time. And that’s how it’s judged.
Ladies of T-Nation, please don’t get so upset at our neanderthalitic comments; we’re just a bunch of little boys drooling over a photo we stole from our older brother’s stash and are showing it to our friends at school.
And you always have an asshole in your group of school friends, don’t you?
sniffsniff* I can feel the love. Thanks for the support Sasquatch and Sic Sasquatch, be careful or I might start to think you like me
Drewz, that was not at all what I meant. I’ve probably posted more pics of buff women than almost anyone on this site in previous threads.
Sic pretty much said how I felt - it just frustrates me that a powerful, muscular woman gets 3 pages of posts about lacking tits. I guess that’s just how guys are and nothing’s going to change that.
Personally, when I saw her pic I thought “Wow, she’s really muscular. Her face is pretty, but looks photoshopped. She has no boobs. Hmmm, actually her body is pretty manly looking, I don’t think that pose is helping.”
I really like the other pic Zen posted much better, but I have to say I think her level of muscularity is too much for me. Then again she’s in contest shape, I wonder how she looks off season. And I’m certainly no expert, but I suspect she’s not natural.
It just rubs me the wrong way when someone who obviously worked so hard gets dismissed with a two word comment “no tits”…

Jilly I understand what you’re saying but I think not talking about her “hard work” comes from 2 directions.
Been there done that. Since we’re on a bodybulding site we see this day in and day out. Its nothing we haven seen before.
The “hard work” is understood and really doesnt need commenting. To attain that body she obviously worked hard and most likely had some “help.” Everybody understands that.
