Post Your Shoulder Routine

The heavy partial lateral raise… I’m wondering if it could be tweaked a little to perhaps be safer and hit the target a little better.

Maybe if you stick with a partial ROM but start and end a tad higher outside of the ROM that’s predominantly supraspinatus. I imagine there’d also be lower weight involved but heavier than a traditional lateral. I might give it a shot next upper body day and report.

Edit:
Or… maybe even better do heavy partials with a lean away lateral raise.

That’s exactly how I perform them. I like pairing them with a “normal” lateral raise in a superset

My shoulder routine is usually -

8 sets of heavy shrugs in front
8 sets of heavy shrugs behind
5 sets of front lateral raises with dumbbells
5 sets of side lateral raises with dumbbells
5 sets of upright rows
Pec dec for rear delts 10 sets
Finish up with bent over dumbbell rear delt work

Teach me your arms routine, please daddy

My arm routine is nothing special.

I just do a lot of sets to failure. I attribute a lot of the arm growth to heavy pressing and pulling movements.

When I was doing more “bro” body part splits, I had a routine I thought was decent. It’s a bit “cookie-cutter” as in it’s the stuff you’d see in magazines but it gave me a good pump.

Standing Barbell Military Press 3 x 5 or Seated Dumbbell Press 3 x 10
Dumbbell Side Lateral Raises 3 x 10 to 15
Cable Face Pulls 3 x 10 to 15
Dumbbell Front lateral Raise or Cable Front Lateral Raise 3 x 10 to 15
Barbell Shoulder Shrugs 3 x 10 to 15
