Post-Workout Craze

Damn, John! That’s some impressive stats. Your a big fella for your height and your bodyfat percentage amazes me too. I’ve never been able to get down below 8%, even then only the top four abs show. My genetics are not very good with respect to low bodyfat I guess. If you could just see my family, old world type people who believe fat people = healthy! They still think I’m crazy. I’m 230 right now and they still think I’m too “thin” suggesting that I may have a tapeworm or something! Anyway, I’m very impressed by your accomplishments and I hope the pre-workout shake helps you as it has helped me.

John U. – Yes, the symptoms do appear to be similar as those seen in runners. For humans it is commonly caused by dehydration/electrolyte loss. While all horses who tie up share very similar symptoms they do not have similar causes. Ther’s a lot more going on actually. True tying-up is confirmed by detection of elevated serum activities of CK (creatine kinase) and AST (animotransferase). Buffers as you mentioned are helpful in many cases since electrolyte imbalances might play a role, as well as vit.E/selenium deficiency. And many products use these substances (other nutrients as well)to treat the symptom. I could go on and on, so in regard to bicarbonate and citrate, citrate can be used as an alternative formula to bicarbonate but it’s really just a bicarbonate precursor and is turned into bicarbonate by the body taking about 3 1/2 grams of citrate to equal 1 teaspoon of baking soda.

John B.-- Thanks for the smile! No I'm not faking :) Please do keep me posted! Will all the info be Online? I honestly have never heard of Testosterone magazine until now and couldn't find a location in my area that carried your magazine. I would like to keep up with the info you'll be sharing!

Right now, my horse is being fitted. Just started under saddle this week but won’t be mounting for another year (too immature). In the meantime I’m focusing on getting him bulked, possibly reentering him in halter. He’s already made the top 10 nationals for color and confirmation and I’d like to go to congress with him. So yes, when the intensity of his work schedule increases I will be making the neccesary protein adjustment to fit his level. One of the reasons why I wasn’t eager to purchase your formula ingredients seperately, opting to wait until your’s was final was because his schedule is light at the moment and he’s getting plenty of protein to match this level. Hopefully your formula will be released soon!
