Hi all,
I lurk here at times to absorb knowledge, but haven’t really posted much. I’m going to have a full-thickness supraspinatus tear surgically repaired, along with sub-acromial depression, in April/May of this year. Now, the recuperation is long (ortho said 6 months before I’m completely released), and of course I don’t want to lose what I’ve managed to gain so far. Being as AAS are readily available if you know where to look, and could help me prevent significant atrophy and speed recuperation time (right???), I’m kicking the idea around.
I’m not looking to do a full-blown cycle(s), since I won’t be lifing upper-body for a while after, and realize that I won’t be able to use continuously for 6 months straight, so I’m maybe looking for some advice as to a decent way to attack this.
-I have access to ANY AAS, and am not stuck on any one or combo over the other.
-Being that even small amounts can ‘shut me down’, should I just go ahead and use a decent amount and do it right instead of ‘pussing around’ with it?
-Since I’m not looking to gain during this downtime, maybe a 2-on, 2-off or 2-on, 4-off strategy with modest amounts would be more appropriate than a traditional 6 to 12 week cycle?
-Should I not even bother, and just ‘man up’, lose the muscle, and try to gain it back afterward?
I appreciate everyone’s opinion and input.
