I heard Popeye’s is only really good in the deep south, that it tastes different there than it does anywhere else.

Back in college, I used to be a delivery driver in the DC area during the summer. Every time I was in the Howard U. neighborhood I would eat at the Popeyes right near campus and be the only white guy there. But, the chicken was so good that once I started eating, I felt like I was the only person there.
Btw, KFC now cooks their chix in soy oil, the fuckers. I don’t know about Popeyes.

It is quite possible that there were no white people that stopped at that particular Popeyes while the news crew was there. Why is that hard to believe? Having lived in CNY, I’m not surprised there weren’t any white people there.

New york is not 90% black, central new york or any other county. Certain specific wards yes, cities maybe but it would mean strictly that city not including any suburb of it. When you are including counties and two seperate areas as they did, it is majority white. Look at the damn newscasters it is a local station. Thew went to two seperate locations at opposite ends and couldn’t find a white person, interesting.

I’m just stating that in certain neighborhoods in Syracuse and Rochester, it is not unusual to see only black people at certain corners, stores and restaurants. If you want, I can list for you each intersection in Syracuse where this is the case and they are not always contiguous areas, meaning you can have these pockets in completely unrelated sections of the city. Rochester is not much different. Ponce stated it was “retarded” that there were no white people in the clips. I am not surprised having spent a good portion of my life in the Syracuse area. If you want to go on thinking its a media conspiracy, I won’t be able to change that.
