There are 3 topics there and many more in your OP. I don’t mind answering, but I don’t want to write a thesis. Pick the one you think exemplifies your POV the best and we can talk about that, which should then give you an idea on how I would answer the rest.
It’s hardly just people from the right. There are tons of people on the left who hate it too. Bill Maher, Sam Harris, Tim Pool, Dave Rubin, Joe Rogan, etc. to name just a few on the left who hate “IDENTITY POLITICS”.

I think the crux of Mufasas question (obviously along with millions and millions of other Americans) is what time frame are we trying to revert to? What aspects of society are we trying to capture that Obama lost for us.
I don’t know about you personally, but virtually everyone I actually know is doing MINIMUM as well off now as they were when Obama took office. With the majority doing INSANELY BETTER.
I think people want to “go back to the good ole days” without having any idea what that actually means.

And many on the left agree because it’s associated with the far-left who holds the banner for “agree with us or we will beat you with a bike lock and throw a milkshake at you.” These more moderate forces on the left understand that ‘woke identitarianism’ stifles speech and kills discussion.
Most reasonable people want to be able to discuss differences and difficult topics without having the conversation be hijacked by offended people with pseudo-moralistic stances crying ‘racism’, ‘xenophobe’, or whatever and assemble mobs to prevent ideas from being heard because their tender identity may shutter.
We cannot have important conversations if the narrative is stuck to the impossible standard of not offending anyone in the mean time. So what happens instead, people jump into silos and stay there convinced by their echo chamber that they are right because the identity they side on, not because they have anything of value to add to the conversation.

This is exactly the problem. People now don’t understand that a different opinion, stance, religion etc does mean hatred of a person or that a middle ground can’t be found.
Being inclusive and respectful does not mean having to agree with everyone all time.
Also, there is some weird notion out there that “getting offended” is somehow a violation of human rights. It’s getting absurd.

What President on a weekly basis has whined more than him about everything? Could we combine all previous presidents cries and equal a few years of trump?
And your opinion can be just as biased as mine. I only dislike him because I think he’s an awful human. Which I realize is the same reason some are fans. I guess I’m looking for different things in a leader.
