I sure did, and was just as shocked as Trump was when he actually won. His debating skills are limited to name calling flip flopping high level platitudes.
I like most of what I hear from Yang. But he’s Asian, so he loses to Trump handily imo.

Yep - and I’ll give Trump credit that he exposed a weak field. Take Ted Cruz, for example - he looked small and weak, and he was supposed to wipe the floor with his opponents. Rubio wasn’t bad, but came off as not ready for prime time, and the rest. Trump wasn’t so much good as he was different. In the next debate, he won’t be.
Who knows or cares what the Right will do - though I suspect they will blindly follow Trump. As for the middle/independents, etc. - they might not love Biden on his Iraq war vote, but since Trump appears to be plunging us into a war with Iran, I don’t think this will be an advantage for Trump to exploit, and the War on Drugs isn’t on the map of concerns.
What Biden represents is sanity - an accomplished, well-respected pol who knows how stuff actually works. Americans turned over the machinery of government to a toddler and look around you for the results. There’s a very good chance they don’t do it again.

Yang won’t make it to Trump. There is a idiot hurricane in front of him making it all but impossible for him to face Trump. Maybe not this time, but maybe in 2024 people may be interested in ideas. At least Yang is trying it the right way and even though I disagree with UBI at least he’s talking about ideas and I can at least respect that.

Agreed. As an Asian male he had no chance of being elected by either party, regardless of stances. Obviously he’d need to be white to get the GOP nom, and I don’t think he checks any IP boxes for the Dems.
Imo that makes him a poor choice to face down Trump. Trump doesn’t discuss policy and ideas as a pretty big point. It’d be Yang discussing policies and Trump making trade war and loyalty comments about China.

Hillary was VERY clear on not only where she stood on just about every topic…she had policy statements and generally how she would approach just about any given issue.

Ben Carson made a pretty good run of it for the GOP and last I checked he was black. Were it not for Hurricane Trump, he stood a decent chance of being the GOP nominee.

We don’t know that Mu. What we do know is that this was a targeted islamist attack. Whether or not he was a repressed gay is something we will never know.
