Ahh Biden…the creepiest of creepy Drunkle types one could imagine.
Don’t forget that if you want to name 1 single cock sucker who has done more damage to our Federal Justice system through silly drug law proposal, just look at Biden… (meanwhile his kids are blowing lines like Scarface)
The total waste of time and money that were MLB Steroid Hearings in Congress
*He also bitched and moaned that if he only “took the steroids” he coulda been as good as Clemmons or the others…
Categorizing steroids as Sched 3 - Thanks ole Joe
Federal asset forfeiture ( leaving your wife and kids in the street so uncle Sam can steal your home, for much less of a criminal charge than some might imagine)
RICO laws empowered (my 2 cents are these are BS mostly)
Supporting and enforcing lengthy sentences for drug abusers not just suppliers (just think the old hippy smoking weed who now shares a cell with a rapist for the next 10 years and we can think Dems like Joe…)
Massive drug enforcement policies outside of the USA - (people love us enough already don’t they?)
I’d like to see them in a debate. Trump would roast Joe so hard it would be shameful. Like when you feel bad for someone and want to turn off the TV shameful.
Didn’t Joe threaten to punch Trump in the nose?
I know its not possible, but I’d love to smash Joe in the nose …about 10 times.
I don’t really wanna turn this into a Trump thread, but for some reason this reminded me of DJT talking about Joe Paterno during his visit to Pitt (“How’s Joe Paterno? We’re gonna bring that back? Right? How about that whole deal?” )
Re: Biden’s comments, I don’t particularly care for Joe so this isn’t much of a defense of him as much as this: the point you make here illustrates the challenge that basically any candidate has visiting any place in our country. The US is so big, and the needs of its citizens so different, that it’s nearly impossible for any candidate to have a handle on the culture and needs of every place they’re visiting. How can anyone be informed about every issue in every small town and big city that they’re going to? I can’t drum up all that much ‘sympathy’ for people running for President, but I at least can admit it’s impossible to please everyone in every place you visit.
All good points. Especially since the legacy is steel, and the tech developments have actually been pretty quiet. When people think tech, they think west coast- Seattle, etc. and medical is like Johns Hopkins, Mayo and other headline names.
Not many would guess who the largest employer in the region actually is.
You have almost 2 out of 3. There’s an interesting hybrid system that I can’t even clearly define that is UPMC, which employs about 80K. It’s a real powerhouse of academic and application.
Then banking, food distribution, tech…
Steel employs about 3K.
One job sector that legitimately surprised me in western PA is the oil industry for fracking and all the support businesses needed by the drillers. If you can work on oil rigs or fix them (and you’re willing to work overtime) name your price.
I just walked by HR’s office and she was nearly begging a machinist to come work for us the need is so great.
Absurd. Trump struggles not to sputter, and he’ll have a record to defend. Imagine Trump trying to explain his “achomlishments” on the tariff debacle or on why he can’t keep competent help at the WH.
All Biden (or whoever the candiate is) will have to do is prepare, because Trump will not.
Like, everybody who longs for a return to normalcy?
Forget the right-wing lemmings who don’t have anything to say about politics except “THE LIBS THO” - no matter what Trump says in a debate, they’re going to vote for Trump.
But the swing voters that delivered the surprise victory to Trump? Biden can make an easy sale to them. While not perfect, that era wasn’t the level of shit show we’d see for the next four years.
This group is the audience for the debate - the ones frustrated enough to vote for Trump, but now horrified of the incompetence, scandal, and corruption.
While definitely not perfect, I think a lot of people underestimate the real world shift in people’s lives during the Obama tenure. (un)Fortunately, if you ask the VAST majority of the country how they were doing when he took office → when he left, they’re going to say much better.
At this point Trump’s pissing off farmers (trade war), pissing off the auto industry (trade war, now amping up with Mexico over brown people), and still waiting for that magical mysterious trickle down herpderpitude to kick in.
Mueller’s statement broke my great uncle. He was going on and on early in the investigation that Mueller was such an upstanding guy that he was ABSOLUTELY going to clear Trump of this liberal bullshit. Then comes the report and it ABSOLUTELY exonerated Trump, spamming 10 articles a day about the report clearing Trump, no charges, yadayada. Of course yaboy Trump didn’t do anything wrong. Fuck the libs. Fuck their couches too.
Pfury gma says he’s not really angry after the statement. He’s just kinda sad about it. He also completely stopped sharing political shit on facebook unless it’s about immigration, which is a big deal for him.
One other point re: the new “tariffs” on Mexico: to pull this off Trump is invoking emergency powers (in a non-emergency) under a statute that permits sanctions. Complete abuse of the law. Couple that with his unlawful invocation of emergency powers to sell weapons to the Saudis and his dubious using emergency powers to allocate money to the wall.
By comparison, he’s making Obama look like a Constitutional Conservative on executive overreach.
So, where you at, Trumpkins? If you were half as conservative as you pretend to be, you’d be denouncing Trump’s overreach with at least the same fury you did with Obama.
