Now I’ve heard talk of Poliquin using injectable aminos for his athletes. However, my searches on the web have netted nothing in terms of figuring out where to find/purchase these items.
First off, do these injectable aminos even exist, or is it just hearsay? If they do exist, what’s the legality of this? Third of all, if they do exist, where could one go about purchasing these? Finally, is there even any benefit of to this? I would imagine a sub-q injection would provide a steady flow of aminos to the body, allowing optimal growth - but that’s just my opinion.
Thanks in advance for the help.
I can’t imagine there are legal problems.
I’ve never heard of this.
And I imagine the biggest concern would be the sterility of the product, even using whatman’s and such.
I’ve heard of people injecting Yohimbine HCL (my most current interest, obviously), so injecting BCAAs wouldn’t surprise. I don’t see how it’d be anymore effective though.
I’d like to know this information aswell.
most studies involving glutamine or BCAAs use injected aminos. (Read the procedure) The benefit of using Intravenous glutamine injections is it doesnt get used in the small intestines thus saving it all for the skeletal muscles , I would guess the same is true for BCAAs…
he gets them from compounding pharmacies…I’ve not heard of him injecting BCAAS, but I know he uses L-carnitine. Integrative medicine docs also do this…Poliquin probably has one of his Docs do it…he has several on staff…

Sythetek industries has started selling an injectable product for fat loss of which one of the major ingredients L-carnitine. There are actually 2 injectables they recommend stacking. I’ve heard around the web that they work seriously well for alot of people.
Back on topic, I imagine it’d be hard to inject bcaas/glutamine very safely not knowing what else is in there. Particularly intravenously.
Hemo-15 comes to mind. I imagine its sterile enough for human use. Thats a multi-vitamin though, sorry.
He uses intravenous aminos - through a drip. Many naturopthic doctors can/do this. I’ve had it done. I actually did not see much benefit.

This sounds interesting, anybody know anymore about this?
An injectable yohimbe would be promising…
Yohimbe is available as a transdermal. Carnosine is injected supplements like carnosine can hold or reverse the negative effects of glycation.
I’m not just talking about BCAA’s, but rather the whole host of aminos.
I’ll look into to the injectable Carnitine, I’ve heard the bioavailability of that specific amino is pretty piss poor.
Thanks again for the help guys.

What I said about sythetek…not sure if its carnitine after all…I’ll look it up.
As for yohimbine…if you look hard enough there are some people homebrewing and injecting it into their problem areas.
Theres also an injectable yohimbine hcl/clenbuterol product available.

Let me know if you find anything. From what I’ve read, injectable yohimbe could basically get rid of all problem fat areas with the stubborn BAT.
