yogi… after some thought i have decided to make the effort to get to the local gym. you suggest that i do 5/3/1? jim suggests that it is better done 4 days per week? can i do it for 3 days instead? also… is this low rep type training going to get me muscular over time? lots of people argue that this type of training is for strength instead of growth. cheers bro.

And the low rep thing is a common misconception with 5/3/1. Yes, your main lifts have a low rep, percentage progression built in but your assistance work can be high rep and’ll take care of muscle building and all the other sexy shit you want
