Ya, it just seems odd two of the biggest games this year will be released prior to the system. I’m assuming they are being released the same day as the PS3/360 release, which would make sense. I guess tha’ts it.

Eh, i dont give a damn about either of them so im not worried about it. Long as i can get ACIV, Killzone and Watch Dogs at launch, ill be ecstatic.

I’m all about BF4. I’m getting the Killzone launch bundle. It looks dirty. I might get ACIV, but I’m getting a tired of the series. I didn’t even finish 3.
I literally just picked up the first AC b/c I wanted a cheap series to get into. I still paid $15 for the damn game. But while I was there I almost picked up the last Fable- the GameStop employee told me MS was offering it for free on the Xbox Marketplace so that saved me $6 so I guess 2 games for $15 isn’t horrible.

Do yourself a favor and get ACII, it is leaps and bounds above the first 1. It’s almost not fair to compare the two. Brotherhood and Revolution are on par with II imo. I didn’t think much changes except multiplayer (I never got into it). III offered a change of pace, but the series as a whole has gone stale for me.
Fyi, I picked up Killzone 2 for $6 on Amazon, $10 with shipping. I’m learning not to trade games in 
I also just picked up BF3 for $15 off Amazon. I’ve got a copy for PS3, but I can’t get the God damn 2.8g software update to work. Has anyone else had an issue with it?
I realize it’s a pretty old game a lot have probably stopped playing.

Youll probably have to force yourself to finish ACI but its worth it. At the very least it sets up a great story and foundation for the series, and itll make you appreciate ACII that much more. ACII is immeasurably better, and Brotherhood and Revelations both follow in its fantastic footsteps. ACIII is still a pretty good game but doesnt capture you like the Ezio games (ACII through Revelations)
Thankfully ACIV looks to be better than ACIII in almost every way.
Ok. I watched my brother play it for a little while and it seemed sort of slow. They say it’s about 10hrs long if you just run through it so maybe I’ll just blow through it to get to the next one.
Batman Arkham series felt very similar in terms of button comboing, counter timing, and movement (jumps, running, etc) so I imagine I will enjoy it b/c I loved that “series”
Release doubt for NA announced as 11/15, 11/29 for Europe. Was really hoping for an october release window…

Although BF4 will probably look pretty good on the PS4, I would recommend the PC version for a better/fuller experience. BF3 is a fantantic game.
I’m really starting to enjoy all the new gameplay that’s been showing up lately, if I start saving now I should have enough for each and every release game within the year.

I’m a console guy. I just don’t have the interest to build & update a PC. I’m sure it looks insane on a PC though.

I used to do only PC.
But life gets in the way now wife, work etc. I cant upgrade and spend time taking care of a PC. Plus I like sitting on my couch, I could never sit on the couch and play a PC game.

In most games I do better the WASD and mouse thing works better for me, but I do have an XBox controller for the PC
