Placing an Order for Syringes

Hi guys,
I’m placing an order for syringes this weekend and i wanted your advise.

I will be injecting Test E and HCG.
Will i need two different sized needles and syringes?
I was planning on ordering 'Blue 23g 1 1/4" 'needles and a box of 5ml syringes.
I will be injecting 250mg Test E3D and i think 250iu HCG E3D.

How does that sound?

Thanks, G.I. Joe.

I believe people use insulin syringes with HCG for sake of dosage accuracy. I guess that would depend on the concentration of the solution though. Also since the HCG is capable of being pushed through a 29g needle why not use it to minimize tissue damage.

Search around other threads for more in depth info.

Usual protocol is to use 18g needles to draw and 23g to inject Test… As for HCG, i’ve never used it so I can’t tell you. 5 ml syringes should do.

I simply use 22g needles to draw and inject.

18g to draw?? a 10ml vial will look like swiss cheese after a few draws. Not to mention floaties lol.

1 inch 23g to draw
1 inch and 1.5 inch 25g to pin
Insulin pins for HCG, if you can get the ready to use ones that come with the 1/4’ 30g pin on the end they are the easiest to use.

Don’t use a 18g in a multi-vial. Maybe from an amp (I’ve never used an amp) but 23 is fine for drawing from a multi. I wouldn’t inject with a 23 either. 25g works well and forces you inject slower, which is a good thing IMO.

I’ve read countless times on this board that 18 gauge is cool to draw in:

Just be careful with the 18GA. If you draw from too close to the same spot through the stopper everytime it can cause small particles to fall into the solution.

Needle size usually comes down to personal preference. I would say the best sizes (for me) are 1" 25G and 1.5" 23G. But if you get some really thick oil, you have to adjust. Mine is so thick that I have to pin with 22G.

So it’s hard to recommend what size to buy. But normally 23 and 25G are good.

And stay away from the 18G. That’s the worst thing you can stick into a vial.

Obviously it’s not the end of the world using an 18g. Over time the 18g will noticeably fuck with the integrity of the rubber. That’s all. It’s not really a big deal at all but if the choice is available, I’d scrap the 18

I draw with 23g 1" and shoot with 5/8" 25g. But I am not good with giant needles…

Using 5/8" limits where you can shoot based on fat levels, I am luckily pretty lean so i can shoot delts, quads, and glutes if i shoot low enough.

No shame in a little pin, almost don’t feel anything.

18 is fine for an amp but multi dose vials get gross with the 18g. the only time i use an 18 is the last draw so that i can get everything out and not waste any.

5ml syrings are too large. 3ml should work well and are still large enough to handle. The 3ml will develop higher injection pressures than the 5ml.

Smaller bore needles create higher pressures for the same applied force. You can then push oil out faster through smaller needles.

I used to load and push with #23 needles. There never was an issue with flow rates. But I was injecting TRT amounts. I never changed needles.

I inject test cyp with #29 .5ml .5" insulin syringes. Yes it takes time to load and inject. But the oil still flows. The above syinge allows one to create over 200PSI injection pressures and that motivates the flow.

For hCG, use the the same #29 .5" .5ml syringes and inject SC. IM injections are not needed and research has shown SC injections to be effective. No need for any muscle damage. 250iu SC EOD will maintain testicular activity… research proven.

I use 25G/0.5" for delts and bis and i use 23G/1" for glutes and thighs. These are probably as small as most will want to go… and even skinny lads could use the sizes i mentioned.

NB: I could easily use 1" for delts/bi and 1.5" for glute/quad but it isnt necessary, as i know that 0.5-1" is going to be deep enough with my bodyfat level. Even if i had ronnies musculature, with a decent bodyfat 0.5" is still enough of a depot depth for biceps.

I most commonly use 1ml and 2ml barrels - When injecting less than 1ml per dose i use the lower volume barrel, when more - i use the higher volume!

It is not an exact science - generally one uses the shorter needles for the lower fat areas and the thinner needles for the smaller muscle groups - and anything wider than 23G is unnecessary for any AAS based product IME.

21G is totally fine for oil and is actually referred to as an Oil-Pipe in some anabolic circles, however it is just going to cause more damage when the 23G would have worked fine. I have used the 21G on many occasions and have no scar tissue to note, but i choose differently these days.

It will take longer to draw from an amp or vial with a smaller gauge - but so the fuck what? If it is really an issue due to time restraints when jacking up in a Burger King (oh, wrong forum…:/) then draw with a green or yellow (21G and 19G respectively) and shoot with a lower gauge.

As someone noted above, the pressures created with the smaller barrels is more than enough to squirt the gear through a very low gauge (upto 29G IIRC - but not 31G IME) - so with this new information it would be cunning to load with a 23G or so, and shoot with a fresh 25-29G, avoiding any further unnecessary tissue damage)

Also worth mentioning… an 18G is not going to be much of an issue with a 10ml multi in regards to damaging the rubber stopper (as does happen with repeated use) as it is discarded after that, but why you would use an 18G for anything in our interests (other than brewing purposes) is beyond me.

For simplicity it is no more difficult than sticking to the first 2 lines of this post.

Hope this helps.

This has to be the end of the thread?!

I think it depends on the quality of the rubber. And you really don’t know the quality until you start pricking it.

The pic shows what an 18G did to the rubber. You’ll notice there aren’t any other pin marks, so repeated use wasn’t an issue.

Here’s the chunk of rubber inside the vial.

F the 18’s… LOL

Lol! wow… well maybe 18 is a little wide then!

I have a 50ml vial i have used for a few compounds now, and it is starting to wear noticeably - but that is 50ML, so obviously that holds 5 times the amount a 10ml vial does, meaning it has 5x the penetrations and it has been used for more than one cycle too… so its no wonder.

Whenever i have stuck an 18 in a vial it has made a piercing that is noticeable compared to the other piercings (which arent noticeable really) but nothing like a chunk missing.

Still - point well made, and i guess even if it doesnt always happen - why risk it?!
(Although i will admit i would never throw a vial if it was in the state pictured… gotta work around that shit!)

Dont bother with the 18’s then

damn…

23’s and 25’s are all ya need. LoL seriously though good info Brook. The 25’s do take some time to load as I’ve noticed with some thick oil, but like u said who gives a fuck.

Cheers!

Yes, thanks for your input guys!
