Get a Subaru Impreza WRX STi, fast in straight line, handles like a fing beast, and the brembo brakes do a good job of stopping it…

i was also looking at this and the Evolution MR. nice cars just different in character. i like the four wheel drive. i would lean to the MR because it’s a little bigger and i think handles a little better. laters pk
Like I said before, I don’t think you can find a better stock package for the price than these two cars.
Easy to mod too, if you want even more speed.
Not to mention they are both 4-door.

That being said, while there are 10 people telling him to get the Z06, becuase it is track proven, the new cobra sound absolutely devestating, and of course no once can back up its performance because no one has driven it yet. Wait and test drive both, but if the Cobra can run (or possibley outrun as many are prediciting), i think it’d be a better choice picking the cobra.
The Cobra does look absolutely sweet. The problem is that when I saw the new GT pics 2 years ago I thought it was sick, but when I saw it up close in real life I thought the styling was blah.

I fear the same thing will happen with the Cobra.

a quote from the website “We would recommend the purchase of a downpipe (they are all equal in regards to performance from brand-to-brand) and after market cat-back exhaust (all our Supra exhausts are cat-back). These two combined will free up the exhaust restrictions of a turbo car significantly, help spool up the turbos quicker with the elimination of the pre and main cat and add couple lbs of boost. These mods will yield approximately 45-55HP alone and have your car running right around 13-15 psi in cooler weather.”

that is not smog legal.

they do offer cat systems but they don’t specify the power with a proper cat system or the fact that you would need to remap the computer.

anyone can turn up the boost in a turbo car and put free flowing exhaust to get more power, whether the car runs smoothly is a different story. I’ve seen beautiful hooked up supras and their owners have put in way more then a few thousand to get them working properly like a stock car can. i love the aftermarket but you need to know how to put everything together to get a fine ride as if it were from the factory. laters pk
Some states don’t have to worry about emissions (like Minnesota), but I know exactly what you mean.
